EK-R project K20


You weren't hanging around Mike, fairplay getting it running. Not to bad of a swap with the conversion parts available to buy now?
 
Update 3/1/10:nice:

put all panels back,almoust there:nerv: and did full service
Now i have to wait only for the new belt:nerv:

stunning car / build up in general, Top work!!! :D This thing is going to be a weapon when u get it on the road!

What the difference with the DC2 subframe? Quicker steering? i wasnt sure if they fitted i thought it was only ek9 ones but obvsiously not! :)

Using the DC2 subframe means you can use EKK2 mounts so the engine sits further back in the bay, iirc it's just a job of unbolting the EK9 one and then bolting in the new DC2 subframe.

@DA6MIKE : I hope you do a full write up on your first drive!
 
aaahhh makes sense!! makes the understeer a bit less / car more balanced i suppose not having it as far forward!!

As said get a write up, after going out in my mates K20 EK (jdm dc5 motor) i dont want any engine other than a k20 now , pure awesomeness!!, strangely economical aswell! :D
