Using the DC2 subframe means you can use EKK2 mounts so the engine sits further back in the bay, iirc it's just a job of unbolting the EK9 one and then bolting in the new DC2 subframe.

Only downside to fitting a DC2 rack is that it's a tad slower and a bit number than a EK9 rack :((

Upside is you get to use DC2 lower wishbones which are 2 piece and can be split and whiteline castor kit installed. With this kit you can run mega positive castor and make both sides equal, it's super cheap and a very trick mod ;)

Cracking work mike, install looks very neat :)

I'll take one of those too, if it's not too much trouble. Just a rough idea of the cost, minus the engine/gearbox, would be brilliant.

Must say mate WOW really big fan of the car. Looks ace come along way from standerd and it looks amazing.

Could i have a rought idea of how much it cost you to make if you dont mind as thinking b18 or k20 for my new project.

I'd love the same...if you could give a rough itemization of the parts too that would be awesome. I'm VERY interested in doing this swap and it seems a bit overwhelming cost-wise.
 
sorry boys:secret:,i didnt have much time to do anything last couple days plus i had a axles shafts problems,could't ewen drive it.Today was my first that i took it for a run after i got new shafts.What a difference,much much more responsive,cant wait for dry roads since there is no traction:drive::drive::drive::drive:,still spins wheels in fourt gear.
It feals much tighter since i have DC2 sub frame.
Hybrid racing shifter is so tight(like a virgin:D) and the trow is wery short and thats on the longest setting
