Dents and Dings on my EK9....

Hi Guys,

As i am self obsessed with my EK9 and it being C/W, do you guys get this > basically when the sun is out and the light of the SUN is against my EK9 you can notice small dings/dents, i am so paranoid and get annoyed by this, is it just me???? :secret:

Theres a few small dings and little dents, you can only notice when the sun light is shining against the car at some angles, shall i leave them or get them professionally looked at and cured by a BODYSHOP, it shouldnt be too hard of a job for the bodyshop right?

well it is a 10 year car so u will expect some dings. no point spending money to fix it as some idiots will put it back for example supermarket carpark.
 
I want it clean as POSS, it wouldnt risk taking it to a SUPERMARKET or Public car park, only work ;)
 
your not alone!! lol i have few small dings that anoy me on mine gonna get them taken out soon, look in yellow pages you should find a mobile dent remover 'dent devil' and 'dents 8' are two i've heard of

I have heard of DENT BUSTERS, what does the prices vary from?

I have a few small dings, and about a 5 cm thin dent line,

Mobile dent remover company’s get a:nice::nice: from me I drop a 2x4 on my front fender pay him cash $40 & hour later, gone can’t see . LOL, the day it happened I couldn’t sleep that night …… this is a sickness!!!
 
If it wasnt going to be to expensive I would def get them done as a car always looks best in the sun so ya dont want marks showing up..
 
Small dings and dents can be easily sorted by the 'dent man'
Its just finding them. I would like mine sorting too, just not got around it.
 
If the paint is all original factory paint, i would find some dent remover to remove it. Don't get bodyshop to fix it with repaint, the color will never match up and in my experience it won't turn out very good.
 
I'm the same, and as soon as I got my EK9, one of the first jobs was to get the all the visable dents removed.

When I know that there is a dent there, I always tend to focus on it and it bugs me, so the only way to stop it annoying me is to get it removed.

First time round went to a well recommended bloke in Gloucester:

He did a fantastic job :nice:

Second time around to get another dent put in accidentally by a mate and his van. Being lazy and didn't want to drive all the way to Gloucester, so went some place local, and he was utter rubbish.

I'm sticking to the dent clinic from now on, worth the drive to get something donw right in the first place.

Find a good paintless dent removal firm close to you and they can miracles :D

Just go on there website and see there work its hard to belive it can be achived without re painting !

Dent Craft is also a paintless dent remover. They basically strip off the interior panels to get to the dent and push it out flat. Cheap and looks 100%
 
Ahh it does annoy me too but to be honest i have very very little dents in mine. Only a few tiny ones on drivers side.

At the end of the day mine is used as a road car and have track day booked and hopefully start tracking it more and more so little tiny dings i can deal with.

Come on guys! The EK9 was born and bread a track car, treat it like one LOL.
 
I only have tiny weeny dings,

im just a paranoid **** when it comes to my EK9, because i think keeping her mint as foook is a must lol she is my 2nd girlfirend after all :D
 
heya lads i just wonder if there is any in Ireland

i got couple of nasty scratches from shopping center parkings and etc
