Right,I powerhosed my car in work and for some reason, after powerhosing them plenty of times, most of the writing came off one of my stickers!I'm now left with 'vic R':nono:

So,I now have to remove them(other side was always kind of flakey),so,do you guys prefere no stickers on your EK9s,or keep it original and get brand spanking new stickers??

i feel your pain :nono:
my stickers are off on the sides, I bought a new set awhile ago but i dont know if i will put them on...(sleeper ha ha joke)
mine dont stick out as much as yours will as my car is black.

I would get new ones.. You can get real good ones throught tegawi imports.. They no where near the price of honda ones but just as good

I think both, look nice when they are fresh, but I also like the idea of people not knowing what it is, and just think its a civic. Then you spank them. They may not recognise this model of Type R, but Im sure most people know what a Type R is. Depends on what you do with the car. If your going for a nice mint look, then yeah get the stickers on, if you like racing, having fun etc then keep them off. When a mate of mine bought a Golf VR6, the firt thing I told him to do was to lose the badges, just so people thought it was just a normal golf.

yup, all about personal preference. No wrong with having or not having them on a car. Now if your talking about loads of after market stickers up and down a fender or all over windows, hell no! lol Ricer look is so 90's.

Clean with out :nice:

i clicked get new stickers but after that pic im not so sure... clean is nice

its your car! dont ask me to modify it! lol

edit: holy f*#k thats low

Get new decals, otherwise people will think the car may have had a re- paint if they are seen to be missing.

I Rock no Stickers

i prefer it

infact, put 1.4 Badges on :nice:

With stickers but that ek9 without looks sweet to so flip a coin or something, if you do want stickers though Tegiwa is the place to go.:D

i voted for the non-stickered version.

I have removed my side-stickers. just left the one on the back (should stay there forever :p)

I like the clean look of the car now the stickers are gone. just my 2 cents

Just thought seems the question about removing them comes up a lot I'd post this quick run through on removal while we're on the subject!

As you know in my infinite foolishness I powerhosed half my stickers off the car yesterday by mistake!

So I couldnt roll with the car like this

So I had to remove them anyway

There's been a few how to remove stickers threads so here is a quick rundown on what we(myself and my bro Benny on here) did!

First we got rid of the main bit of the sticker using a hair drier, once its good and hot it peels off very easily!

So once the sticker is off there was a bit of glue stuck on,so I used this adhesive remover

Once this was on the glue it peeled off extremely easy, just left it about a minute and the glue basically wiped off

So once that was off, there was a colour difference,Benny compounded it down to match the colour, bit of elbow grease and polish will do the trick too

So I have a stickerless car at the moment,I'll run with it a while and see how I'm feeling about stickers

That pic of the slammed one by Colliemcc is

I also like the idea of a 1.4 sticker on the back

Mine has no stickers- avoids a lot of unwanted attention!
Only get people who are into cars know what it is.. prefer it that way personally.
