Championship White, Facelift EK9

Hi guys,

After Christmas I will be in the market for an EK9. Seems like a good time with all the prices dropping!

The more local to West Yorkshire, the better.

Prefferably I would like a stock example, but may accept:

Facelift model..newer the year the better. Want something a bit newer than my 96 car.
Standard or SPOON suspension.
Already has an aftermarket exhaust.
Already has an intake like MUGEN.
Already has an aftermarket header.
Full service history since being in the UK.
Fully under sealed.
CAT 1 alarm and immobiliser but I can arrange this anyway, so not a necessity.
Closer to West Yorkshire the better, but still willing to travel.

If you car does not fit this criteria, send me a message or reply here anyway, as I might just seem something that tickles my fancy.

Hi what sort if budget are you on. I have 3 face-lift 9's for sale from £6999.

Should have bought Kunals W plate, thats the only chance of getting one that new for under 7k. I seriously doubt Dunk is going to sell his cars too cheap like that guy did.
 
Did not have the money at the time. Been looking a lot and you can get face lift models for under 7k easy. May not be a fresh import, but so what? The Yen is strong now pushing import prices up and the car is used anyway you look at it.

I would happily pay an extra £1000 to know i was the first UK owner...you will be very surprised how quickly a car can Deteriorate if it is not looked after properly in the UK...Seen it LOADS

If i were in your position...which i was in february of this year i would Defo try and be a first UK owner and use a reputable Import company to either get you one in...or buy one they currently have in stock.

You get what you pay for remember

I understand what you are saying, but just because it is in the UK does not mean it has not been looked after.

I'm sure your car has been lucked after since you bought it ;)
 
i see your point gee....

But then i still would prefer fresh imports.... Mine was fresh in the UK :) Felt so Japanese lol
 
I'll just need to make sure it has been well looked after, check the service history etc etc.

I understand that in Japan they usually have less mileage and are well looked after, but sometimes they come with no service history off the boat. There are no guarantees either way.

I would prefer to buy a fresh import, seen a couple I am interested in, but they are not facelifts.

Does Type R Dunk have a website?

Yeah your right...my car has been looked after...all i was meaning was that if a car isnt looked after it will deteriorate quickly...but thats the same for any car i suppose.

Both look equally as nice, just want something a bit fresher even thou you can get both of the same year?

ive had my EK9 a year and fancy a change not desperate to sell but will sell for a fair price. i had £5750 ono in mind. i may even be into a p/x with the toyota, trouble is mines a 97 r reg so may be too old for you. that being said its very clean, has mint interior electric windows, mirrors and aircon 73,000 miles! i paid top dollar and it was mint, no accident damage or paint unlike a lot of jap imports out there! and whilst it didnt have the history the stickers were present that the honda dealer had put on to say belts were changed and i am very fussy and spent 2 hours inspecting it before i bought it. since i have had it i had her delimeted and converted then serviced and sensibly tuned at unit8 cost over £3000 with Hondata ecu, dc2manifold, spoon exhaust, top fuel filter, skunk2 intake manifold & throttle body buddy club camber arms. advan rims full service recently all belts top quality fluids plugs magnacore leads dizzy cap arm etc no expense spared, now the only negative part there is a light scratch on rear bumper 1 stone chip on the bonnet approx 7-8mm 1 small dent in rear quarter very minor no paint broken if you are intrested i can mail you some pics i havent put it up for sale yet i just saw your ad. and thought id see if you were intrested i am about 4-5 hour drive from you but could meet you half way if you like

Everything considered guys, but ideally I am after a facelift model.

First I will be probably viewing is a member I have been PM'ing who has a facelift, so will be in touch within a week hopefully!

id recommend going to dunk for one ive seen the three hes got all are excellent examples he always gets them with excellent interiors aswell :) up to you matey doubt you'll get a facelift with decent milage for less than 7k you could get a low mileage pre face for 6k
 
What do you call decent milage?

What I am looking at is 98 facelift with about 58,000 miles on it, service history including cambelt change.

JDM B18C would be getting dropped in sooner rather than later also.

Cars already in the country are so much less than dealers cars or fresh imports.
 
Dude your looking at 7k tops for the requirements, give Duncan a shout as matt o said :nice:
