Cant believe I am writing this!

I am going to be breaking my car!mad:

I have been thinking about this for a few weeks now & I cant tell you how hard of a decision this has been for me as I love my car like I love my MRS.

I have not been on hear much over the past few weeks while I made my decision, because I new the more I look on hear the more I would talk myself into keeping it!

It has been off the road now for a around 7 months as I have been buying parts & saving to make my car a track toy for 2010.

The reason I am going to do this is because I have come to realise that I have bigger priority’s than a track car for myself.

• I have a 8 month old son that I want to be able to support through life, like my parents did for me.

• I need to start looking into a bigger house as the one I own now is a little to small for the three of us & mortgages don’t come cheep unfortunately.

• My MRS is only going to be working part time until our son go’s to school, due to child care costs & such like.

I could go on all day about reasons I need to do this as much as I don’t want to!

Basically I need to start thinking about the bigger picture (The future), rather than what I want to do myself!

I have thought about every possible way of keeping the car, but none of them are actually feasible if I am being honest with myself.

In a few years when I am in a better financial position & I have a bit of money behind me I WILL buy another EK9 for track use!

Yeah i remember you too mate, was a quick car but needs must in affraid!

Forgot to mention the exhaust manifold has had all the heat shield brackets removed & heat wraped!

Yeah it is a crying shame as it was going to be one hell of a wepon when i was finished, but as you say i have my priorities right!
