Buddyclub Front Camber Arms

I believe what they will tell you is that their products are for "Racing Use Only" and are not suitable for general street use. Therefore they should be checked and maintained on a very regular basis e.g every race/track day. Obviously not very good for people that use the car every day and are unable to check each time they park up.

Unfortunately I think that's what they are going to say leaving you to fend for yourself. But you would think that now surely a lot of people have complained that they could spend the extra £5 and throw in some HTS bolts.

as said by others and on the actual item, they are for "racing use only". The design is actually better than most because it has a solid mounting point not two thin rails. The only downside is those little bolts corroding to dust as they are just not designed for road use. I had the same issue as you guys when i had them on my old VTI, the bolts were starting to go. Spent a few quid on some good bolts and never had any more issues with them. HTH.

Cheers Aleex.

Yeah Stephen i think ill just buy some hts bolts to replace them.

We haven't had any of the CyberSpeeds arms fail on us yet.
Proper Hex bolt (not little allen bolt) and a 5mm thick steel body.

Going by whats been said in this thread, for peace of mind yes, yes you should :nice:

Where did you get ya bolts from Aleex??

Think ill just do the same thing as well.

must take a look for the ones i took out of mine, only on 6 months and one was sheared off!

Im bringing the 9 back to plym this weekend, fancy meeting ?

The bolts on mine snapped after 1month and th actual arms were corroded to fuk! So i sent thm back to buddyclub, got new ones sent to me painted thm in black waxoyl, fitted high tensile bolts and covered thm in tons of copper slip and more waxoyl and now its been 2 years and they hav been fine!

I'm scared to take a look at mine lol. I might just remove them whilst my car is off the road before I regret it. The quality of them is terrible...

Anyone wanting any i'd personally go with the Cyberspeeds ones, had them on my old civic and it's so much more reassuring having 4 big bolts holding the camber in place rather than wee allen key bolts

GET HIGH TENSILE BOLTS IN THEM AND THEY ARE FINE!

I abused mine round the ring with no issues.

High tensile mean they have a much higher breaking/shearing point. most bolts are like 8.8 and very easy to break. 12.9 wil be spot on.

Metric bolts

8.8
Class 8.8
Medium Carbon Steel, Quenched and Tempered

10.9
Class 10.9
Alloy Steel, Quenched and Tempered

12.9
Class 12.9
Alloy Steel, Quenched and Tempered

A-2 Stainless
Steel alloy with 17- 19% Chromium and 8-13% Nickel

Persoanlly i would avoid stainless as these can be very hard (nature of the material) and if you ever have to drill one out you be knackered because stainless can work harden and no matter what diamond drill, carbide tooling you use will not get it out.

have you used the 9 on tracks yet without the camber kit?

The main reason for them snapping is neglect. All you have to do is spray them with copper grease or similar product and they are fine.

We put these on all the civic cup cars and not had one issue. I'm sure you guys dont abuse the cars like the drivers do.

Any problems please PM me

i heard about it again!! i run my buddyclub cambers for 2 years now with their factory bolts and had no issues!!!! just make sure you dont overtight do them exact as the liflet says!! ps our roads here are full of holes and bumbs !!
