Buddy Club Racing Spec Condenser

sorry about that, I will take some pics by this weekend. :D

There should be a small "switch" wire that comes off the unit which you connect to your hood. This will turn on/off the LED.

Unless BC removed it from the generic unit before they released it as their own (these things have been sold for years)

Hmmm, I didn't see any switch... I'll have to check my box to see if I lefted anything out though...

All in All, my idle is stronger and smoother. Engine bay has more blue wires now. The grounding cables are good quality gold plated. :nice:

Yup, these things do definitely help to stabilize idle and prevent power fluctuations :)

what about if you just double your earths up, get some good qaulity wire and run a few extra grounds? woudl this not do a similar thing and you could do it for about £5

A grounding kit, yes, but thats not the main idea behind the BC Condenser. The correct term for it is Voltage Stabilizer.

That won't do anything more than your stock grounding wires. It IS a proven thing, and so far, buddyclub seems the best value in terms of bling and what it does.

hoping to have one on the way soon ;) lets see thouse pics jugz :D lol

lol sure is...

Pics on the way. Hopefully I can get some nice lighting. :D

Sorry it took so long guys, I keep forgeting my camera. Some pics are from the install and some new ones. :nice:

Note, I've also changed my stock negative clamp to a nice brass clamp with one of the buddyclub grounding wires, Electric Sparks from connectors became very strong, this is something you notice straight away upon connecting your battery.

I pretty much grounded everything that I could find that had stock grounding wires, including radiator, gearbox, water pump, chassis, HID etc.

Quality of wires are very nice and 18k or 24k gold plated, looks 24k though.

Installation was very very easy. Theres already a hole on your firewall to bolt the condenser onto. Take it as tidying up your wires and giving your engine bay a nice touch up.

Thanks

I lost one of my pics with the parts laid out... Windows Vista is a piece of ****, corrupted it when I was resizing it. arghh!

very very nice jugz ;)

any reason why you have gone to the rad though??
at the moment i have two of the three setup...one to the rocker(same place as yours.orginal grounding cable to body still on) and the other onto the distributer. was thinking maybe put the little one as you have from rocker to body. or straight to alternator?

what you think?

Acutually, the reason why is because it came with one very long cable, where I couldn't figure out where to put it, I also had extra cables.
The alternator is a good place. I put it on the radiator because there was already a grounded wire there so thought it might do some good.

Anyway, I just put it anywhere I could see. lol

I also put one on the tranny to the body. I still got a couple of cables left from another kit. :D When I have time, I'll look to see for some other GOOD SPOTS and reorganize it. :nice:

AndyH Show us some pics btw :)

;) will get some up when its had a spring clean! lol i aint stupid enough to put them up alongside yours as it will look shocking.lol.

i see what you mean about the rad. i just didnt realise the rad was grounded.that kit really needs to come with a mounting bolt!!!

hmm, mine came with a bracket and bolt. And it just fits perfect onto the firewall. While I was posting up the pics, I had a pic of the parts layed out on the floor, while I was editing it, the DAMN WINDOWS VISTA crashed it and corrupted my 1 and only pic! I was so pissed! lol
