The purposed of these is to ensure that the recharge after the spark plugs fired are recharged quickly and to create a more denser accurate fire, At high rpms, the firing rate of the plugs are firing very quickly and not always you get the full charge after each interval.

This is also why High Tension Spark Plug cables are also used as upgrades as a part of the ignition. I've ordered a set of SPOON High Tension Spark Plug cables for my DC2 and EK9, so this should be a nice upgrade.

As you can see on the pics, theres a dyno graph of a DC2 B18. Gains throughout RPM. Highly recommended for Stock cars, bolt ons, Rev limit increases and upgraded cams.

I also recommend it, almost every slightly tuned EK9 I've seen in Japan has this :)

in which parts of enginebay you are going to connect the wires

important part to have on some cars, for example this is MUST for evo's as there factory ground system is garbage, we've seen evo's melt wires!!

Currently working on the dc5, I will do a short write up once I get the time to install it on the 9. It just connects to the battery and becomes the power distributor I think... :p but I know its easy...

That unit can be placed anywhere in the engine bay, it's made like that more for splicing up your engine bay with blue glowing light. Should look nice at night :D

I think I've got the price for this in my Parts Thread in Want To Buy section in the forum. Maybe around 13000yen or less.

I've just had my car back on the road and noticed that some of the grouding wire i had on the engine has gone missing.

I was actually looking to get some normal ground wires from Funky power:

http://www.funkypower.co.uk/catalog...&+VOLTAGE+STABILISERS&level3=&id_product=4349

Would the buddy club wire be more effective then just normal ground wires? There is a big price difference over in the UK, the cheapest i can see the buddy club ones are £95 from Funky power.

does anyone knows if this will damage your battery if the car is inactive for more than 5 days since that LEDs are always on even if you power off the car.

i have a voltmeter on my batter but it turns off after about 5 minutes of the key being out, your is not the same?

are you trying to be sarcastic? maybe you should do more research about physical facts on ignition.:naughty:
I know that theres not much difference with spark plugs and newer ones perform same as high performance ones. But having a better grounding system and stronger current with faster recharge makes a lot of sense on ignition. :nice:

It makes alot of sense but does it make alot of performance? I think not. I had a reputable grounding kit on my old ITR and it didn't do grass. The performance before and after was the same!

did you dyno or use your butt dyno? It might not feel like anything but it sure is helping to keep things in order inside the combustion chambers AND provide more consistant power.

The proper way to do it is a complete ignition amplifyer system with grounding kit. This mod is part of the stg1 basic bolt on things to do. However, it is expensive.

Like RVM said, almost all tuners in Japan has one.

The BC grounding kit is like 1/3 of the complete kit and 1/4 cost. I haven't opened the box yet, so I'll take some pics of the manual to confirm all questions...

No_fear: I think it should have a relay to switch the lights on and off. Will confirm soon.

I've just installed the kit this afternoon. Took some pics of it and went to work. On the way to work, I noticed on my Power FC that the voltage readings are better and was very very stable unlike before where it was jumping up and down every 0.3secs.

The results of the voltage increase and stability is so good that I'll take a video of it disconnected and connected. :)

got answered from BC about the LEDs
The condenser LED lights take less power than your normal alarm security light, so as to not drain the battery.

did u manage to sort out any install pics after Jugz???? be very interested to see as have seen a shed load of hondas running these
