my b18cr is running with s2 tuner 3 cams. im planing to go up with the compression with ctr pistons. will i have a problem of clearence with this?
or should i be fine

well right now we dyno 201whp. how many extra ponnys could i get with the ctr pistons? and i bought the tuner 3 ones like 3 month ago on my ex mechanic advise (note: he lost a client after that LOL) yes many people have say to me that pro 2 will work better on my set up, but well for the moment buying another set of cams is not an option so i will have to work with the tuner ones

Clay motor first, modify valve reliefs as required. Should see some gains, increase in comp will make cams work more efficently. PS. I have no experience with the pro 2's but have you dialled the cams in with adjustable cam gears?

Will defiantly need to machine the pct pistons when using those cams

Also you'll need high octane fuel and a good tuner.

this image was taken today so by tomorrow the head will be back in action

will tune with 93 fuel if by tomorrow afternoon everything is set of to the dyno

will update !

thanks for all the tips im crossing my finger that we won't have a problem my mechanic told me that he don't think so, we will see.

yes i have s2 pro cam gear also

Stage 3's? Heard of people needing to machine the valve reliefs in those pistons for stage 2's so I imagine with stage 3's your defiantly going to need to. I assume you will be claying the engine anyway so should find this out...

Don't use civic type r pistons when you can buy forged, lighter and more durable pistons for not much more! I was going down that route and was pointed in the right direction. I'm using weisco.

X2 I would'nt want to be reving those B16B pistons to high and thats exactly what your going to need to do with those camshafts. To be honest with you though i have a feeling that this guy hasn't took a single word in on this thread and is just going to go ahead with this without even checking you p2v clearence. So i wish you the best of luck and hope you dont mind posting the pictures of the damage up for all of us to see.
