Try get more pics love this ek9. How you going to run it in
 
its pretty much ran in but valve clearance went out of spec due to being sold a head with swapped cam caps so had to get head rebuilt so another 4k rev limit and some miles to make sure the valve clearances arent going out of spec then finish of the map
 
keep the revs low i presume also to make sure the valve clearance isnt going to go out of spec again
 
Hi Grimo. Its unfortunate that the so called 'tuner' lol in question has seemingly done such awful work on your car.
I remember Leigh's project thread about his engine giving up on the dyno and that the tuner just happened to have a new crank (lol) right in the garage at that very time lol!
I remember thinking to myself at that time, no vaseline will save his ass now!
Low and behold as soon as Leigh had his car back, it was for sale. I pitied Leigh at the time as there was so many lickholes on DTD telling him to stay with the tuner and editing and deleting posts in various other threads to make that particular tuner look good. People who had different experiences were indeed given threats as was many other people i know including crazy eyes. :( I could make my own mind up about what was going on ;)
Leigh did take really good care of his car himself though and it is really mint. Its just unfortnate that he made the mistake he did by going to that tuner.

fool me once, shame on you

fool me twice? that wont ever happen

the worst thing about this whole handling is that not only does it give TDP a bad name but it also drags my name through the dirt when i payed big money for a professional service to which i now know that i did not receive
 
Cars gorgeous:drool:, Love them wheels, especially the colour.. If ur ever sellin them remeber who asked first:))
 
wheels are deffo not for sale maybe in the future they might get a colour change but have no intention atm
 
got it back from mapping yesterday final tweaks done to the map next will update when iam home on engine mounts and exhaust wrapping
 
il get more pics at the weekend going to set up the suspension and give it a decent clean if i have time all depending on weather but :(
