WHATS HAPPENING WITH THE CAR JUST NOW!!

Iv also recently aquired some new coilovers for it

IMG00192-20101024-1059.jpg

Some HSD numbers.

also some new track wheels - couple dents but they run true and balance out sound - happy days - also staggered, 2xet35 and 2xet28, 15"

Race Spec Shifter from Tegiwa Imports - raises the gearknob about 150mm so is closer to steeringwheel

RACESHIFT.jpg

also managed a major lowball on this on eBay (insert scared face) - FC Datalogit which will allow me to remap the car using laptop and bigger graphs rather than using the hand controller. The car is currently in SOS Motorsport where the mapping will be done :)

Iv also got a fully flocked dashboard to be fitted also, just need to build up the will to remove the cage first ontop of the other things i want to do, but im hunting for a pre-owned Stack Dash at a cheap price before ripping it out (will be a long hunt though, best one to suit the needs for me so far is around £650)

Also in the market for :-

full polybush kit
new rear LCA's (or might just put the polybushes into the ones iv bought if they can fit)
rear ARB and brace kit
thicker front ARB
camber adjusters and toe adjusters
better breather kit for the engine

Few other jobs here and there, but getting the suspension and the map sorted are my main priorities this winter, with a few cosmetic changes on the horizon also - that will be revealed once done

Cheers for looking - comments good and bad always welcome

Cheers

Steve

looks clean m8. bet thats leathal lol

mate dont take this the wrong way, but if it was white..

my fav ek of all time.....

wow! thats a big spec list!

I can see you've put a hell of a lot of effort into this! :nice:

how is it at getting all those horses down?

Cheers gents - its lethal when it runs mate yea, very quick

Lee, i did consider a full restart with an EK9 shell, have it all seam welded and mad cage fitted, but its too much (well, how can anything be too much i suppose with how far i am with it)

robbie, 2nd gear is a struggle, 3rd gear onwards on low boost is fine though, although going into some corners on track in 3rd was lightin the wheels up - but im changing from the S80 98 spec ITR box to an S9B longer ratio box with a kaaz 2-way diff, should let me grip a bit more.

Its been a hell of a long way, had ot for 5 and half years, and its an EJ9 shell, bought it as a standard 1.4 in June 2005
