B18 Turbo EK - My car

Car is absolutely mental with the amount of work and quality parts:nerv:

not done an update on here for a while, so i'll post up a few recent pics etc etc, let you know whats going on with the car

Also in the market for :-

full polybush kit
new rear LCA's (or might just put the polybushes into the ones iv bought if they can fit)
rear ARB and brace kit
thicker front ARB
camber adjusters and toe adjusters
better breather kit for the engine

Few other jobs here and there, but getting the suspension and the map sorted are my main priorities this winter, with a few cosmetic changes on the horizon also - that will be revealed once done

Cheers for looking - comments good and bad always welcome

Cheers

Steve

As regards to your breather kit, defo check out the B&R breather kits. I have some good pics of them at home that I will post up. They look cool as f*** and everyone raves about them. Would love to have one on my car. they are pricey tho!

Thought it mite be bit of handful! Glad you've got a plan to reign it in a bit.

Good work tho. Is looking lovely :))

Looks lovely mate its just screaming for an asr rear arb and brace :p

please let me know what you think of the HSD coilovers?! :)

i saw this at JAE i think???? if it was this car i loved it. spent a while looking at it as its pretty much what i'd like to do to mine as and when funds allow (if ever)
@jason100 yes tegiwa are doing there own copy of the 'x' bar.

Nice car m8, did ah see this driving about Edinburgh?

Nice work! looking forward to more updates then. Whats the reason for re-mapping it, going for more power?

The B&R breather kits are very flawed btw. they allow pressure to be relieved from the oil-drains on the back of the block carrying oil up into your catch tank with the blowby crankcase gasses. Its best to let the engine breath from multiple ports on the cam cover :nice:

Cheers everybody

Dunsy - mibee aye lol

It's needing remapped due to having different cams, pistons and other wee bits and bobs changed. I'm also Lookin o get more power and increase the boost pressure. Iv looked inti a few, got nothin set in stone yet, close to tryin to make one ourselves with fittings etc etc. Plenty time though, no rush.

Some bit of kit that Steve, hopefully you'll have more luck with it next year!

what an absolute beast! :D seen this at crail once upon a time and love what yav done with it!

Thanks for he comments guys. Your right Steve hopefully get a bit better luck this year, it can't be any worse than whatbiv already had lol.

Been havin some good fortune with the car recently, I'll post a more detailed update once I'm on the computer and not my phone.

Tyres wise I'm running 205/50x16 on front which I might end up changing.

The rears I'm sure are 195/50 or 195/45. I can't remember exactly what it is off hand.

base map is done on low boost (0.5bar then creeps to 0.7 once above 7000rpm due to only running a 38mm wastegate)

yup, so far we're seeing 336 @ wheels (approx 390bhp @ fly) from 0.5/0.7bar, and thats at 7890rpm, so a bit safer on the revs.

Dave will be back onto mapping it ocne his mechanic comes back from his holiday, he's working himself at the minute so doesnt have time to get onto it just now.

Getting close though - cant wait :)
