For every one asking question's about the B18 swap
Hear is the diffrence between the two!:nice:
Both done on the same dyno with the same mod's!
Sorry about the pic quality i just took a photo of my graph on my phone! lol

Obviously the Green line's are the B16 & the pink the B18!

thats enough gain throughout rev range to say that is a great difference in performance and driveability!

Thanks for sharing that, i have been very keen to see difference on paper, and this is perfect comparison test :nice:

do you mean to say this is b18c compared to b16b? cause you said b18b which is a very different engine, let me know so i can fix the title...

well just proves as some say, there is no replacement for displacement,

interesting how both teh graphs are pretty much teh same shape, just the B18 has more power and tourque EVERYWHERE
 
Glad i did my swap now. Proven and tested and i went from B16A2 to a B18C. I love it. My butt dyno certainly knows its quicker but by how much is always hard to tell.

My stock DC2R is certainly a lot quicker than my modded 9. Thats how much.

I been meaning to put this up for a while, but never got round to it!
But sin's we have had a lot of people askin the diffrence's thought this would be the best way to show everyone!

exacly the same gains as it would be in essence the same engine, you would just want an ITR ecu also so that it fuelled perfectly :nice:

although i am pretty sure it woudl run quite well on teh EK9 ecu, these honda ecu`s are smart, they learn.........:secret:

that is a graf from a b16b or a b16a3?

its on a dynodynamics rolling road they always put out pessimistic figures,

the real point here is the difference between the 2 engines as oppose to the headline figure.... :nice:

sure but if the b16b only puts out 175 hp there something worng with it
