***Attention***Do not buy buddyclub camber arms***

I have Cuddy Club Camber kits. Been on for almost a year, no problems. I'll have my mechanic take a look next time it's in though.
Never used aftermarket upper camber arms....mainly because it's so hit or miss. I've had friends that have used various models and have had them last for years....and others who had them break in a few months.

many of buddyclubs lower cost parts are and have been for some time Chinese parts, it's sad but true...

hmmm i will have to get my mate at the machine shop to get me in some high tensile bolts before i go and fit mine .

As Iceman sais, all parts have their weak points

One of the balljoints has gone on my SPC arms already, although Eibach UK are sorting me out with a new pair (1 as a spare) for £90, pretty good deal

Just hope they arrive as quick as they have quoted me :((

I didn't have a choice. The camber on the right side of my car was messed up so I needed some kits to fix it. I was gonna get BLOX but IL4 was out and sold me the Buddy Club P1 Racing kits at a discount to make up for it. They are supposed to be better though. So far they've been fine.

It's been almost a year since they've been installed. I'll take it in for an alignment next month and have the shop check them. If the bolts look distressed in anyway, I'll get them replaced.

I Think it probably also depends on the climate you live in if these are likely to go, If you live in the Uk and run your car through winter then your pretty much asking for trouble

Do you know who it was who you spoke to dude?

Guys my mate karl had the exact same problem approx two - three weeks ago and he only had his on his car for FOUR months... I warned a guy about this in another thread but he did'nt seem a bit bothered by it... seriously think twice about buying this product. If they sheer off while your doing 70+ mph on the motorway there's no way you'll get out of your car in one piece... And l can provide pics to prove.

id def steer clear until buddy club sort out the problem and can prove they have, eibach it is for me im thinking. they should be offering full re-funds to people that this has happened to as after all it is potentially life threating! however i spect they have a get out clause like most big companies

Yeah, they say its not for Road use. Instantly voids them from any liability

PM me with a testimonial and ima write to BCUK and see what they say.

Here is a pic.

Almost looks like you drove that through the winter...with salt on the roads. I'll be sticking with OEM upper arms for now. They make other camber kits that are less dangerous. I don't need to have my car that low that I'm all cambered out anyway.

Mine have done less than 5000 miles and was hardly driven when all the salt was about and when it was driven I washed it thoroughly to get the salt of! Siht parts!

I did say about this not long ago!

I went for the Hardrace items as they come with 12mm bolts instead of little allen key bolts - which I have found to 'round off' in the past.

Either way like Dunsy said UK salt KILLS everything on the cars and I would imagine Buddy Club will say that they are for use on track where the surface is A LOT smoother.

Bumpy roads + salt = LETHAL combination! :nono:

Josh..

Three words:

Competition road sprints.

Am writing to BCUK now. Will post up results

Im pretty sure by...Not for Road use...they will mean, Not at all on the road ever.

Its like D2 Coilovers, they have the same thing written on them, its basically means for circuit cars only.

best of luck with it though :nice:

Surely when the road is used for sprints it's coned off so therefor becomes a mini track?

Sorry, i'm being really blunt and twatish. I'm just really hoping they will accept it s oI can get either some compensation or something else. Just trying to convince myself I guess. Not being rude sorry mate
