The reason i ask is we are after a cheap tyre for the dd, i used Nankang's years ago on my first civic and they where fine but wondered if anyone had used them recently? Particularly the NS2?

Thanks

Ian

awsome tyers dude my mate has them on his 1.8t golf handels like its on rails...

^^ you clearly have never used a GOOD tyre.

Ian, for a daily they'd be "fine" but i honestly think these tyres along with parada spec2's should be stripped of the license's to be sold. In the wet they are NOT safe. If i ever had to brake heavy for whatever reason i would pray to god they wouldnt skid.

for the safety of you and the miss' get something a bit better

there crap! there not nicknamed 'ditch finders' for nothing lol

Ha what a statement. If I was a **** driver I wouldn't go to Nurburgring every year. I had a pair on the front and they under steer worse than semi slicks in the wet.

I only know of people using them for drifting as they are **** and cheap do it doesn't matter about making them bald.

cos you go to nurburgring doesnt make you a ''good driver'' in my persanal opinion they are just as good as toyo t1r's... if you want good tyers go for toyo r888, Hankook Optimo H727, Kumho KU31... etc..

if i was a **** driver i would of crashed by now and i would of thought to myself im a crap driver.

decide for yourself. my lap..

i would also say t1r's arent a very good tyre either, the sidewalls are far to flexible for my liking.
theres some pretty bad reviews on here, admitingly theres some ok/good reviews but i wouldnt ever put them on an actual drivers car

i dont care about you driving..... i more concered you saying the nankang ns2 are chod tyers when their not!!!

K'in'ell, anyone would think he insulted your mother! :p

loll.

from what ive read and experience in my mates car, NS2's are better on big bulkier and heavier cars

matt your such a whore for that video haha..any chance you get..BLAM it pops up ;)

I had nankangs on the Mazda 323 I bought for this winter, they were on the car when I bought it and were outright dangerous, especially in the wet (not much of an issue if you lived in Miami, a lot worse when you live in Glasgow :D ). Not sure which type it was, not the one in the picture tho. I think there are a lot better budget tyres out there! What car is it for? Size required?

Haha funny thread!

For what it's worth, I had a set of Nankang NS2s once and I actually thought I was going to die. Cheap tyres but you having to factor in phone calls to the loved ones before every drive, just in case. Is that worth it to you for a bit of money saved?

For the record, I'm no Sebastian Vettel but I feel I can drive adequately enough to give a review of the tyres mentioned ;)

Ha ha this has turned out well! Lol

It's of our ep3 but it is a run to the shops and work car not the toy. Currently T1R's on it which I am happy with but these are £300 a set!
