Anyone used or is using Nankang NS2?

try NOKIAN. They stand somewhere in the middle between superb tyres and chinese. They are fairly priced too.

Na 205 40 17 I'm after. :)

May be a bit late but I got a set of four Falken ze912's for £213 delivered from eBay.

Think they are really good tires in wet and dry conditions for the price, and seem to be holding up well on my Accord.

Sorry I know this is old thread but i guess better than make another? I have ns2's fitted and I didn't think they were that bad, in the wet yeah not great but who actually drives fast in the wet unless on a track? Dry is for driving fun :) I found it finally broke away in only understeer on my ek4 but then again I havnt really drove many performance cars with different tyre options, quick question what's up with the t1r's? And not just there ****, I am after grip in the dry I don't really car about wet cause I don't go remotely fast or drive aggressive in the wet!

They are not bad at all for general driving around especially for the price, reasonably grippy but the sidewall is ridiculously soft, like they're made of chewing gum! Good for going to track and back :)

Oh right so the sidewall is a big let down on these tyres? Okay so what tyres are actually good for daily as well as a good grippy set of tyres for an ek? I thought the t1r's would have been a good bet?!

They are good, it really depends on how much you want to spend tbh. For the money I would put them on the car any day, but they are not performance tyres even tho many will tell you they are. R1Rs, AD08s will be miles better, but cost twice as much. As with anything else - you get what you pay for!

What about Goodyear eagle f1's? They look pretty nice but again more money :p or the maxis maz1? Similar looking tread etc? Also would any of you consider running a wider width on the front than rear? Would it have any benefits apart from the 2mm tyre profile extra width? I think spoon have wider fronts :S

Cheers
