has anyone ever used the ebay front camber arms? only thing i can see that would be **** are the bushes and the use of normal/cheap quality ball joint.

anyone ever used them?

well if buddyclub and skunk2 cant get there arms right i would hate to think how poor a pair of unbranded ebay items would fair up! :nerv:

if there anything like the CHEAP ass EBAY shockers Kev ek9 bought....the bush will fall of within the first m onth or so of fitting. Prob wont even come witha bush, just a load of insulation tape.

even SPC arms have failed under the hands of steve but then his suspension was about as soft as granite! lol.

I nearly wrote of my car at the Ring because my "BUDDYCLUB" Camber arms failed me AGAIN!

some people tend to forget that most of these arms are intended for track use only and simply dont stand up to everyday road use without proper maintenance!

let me guess... allen bolts snap???

Did the first time. This time they worked loose and on my 1st lap of the ring my left wheel was floating about. I bough Hi tensile bolts after the first ones snapped how these worked loose i don't know. I checked them before i left for Germany.

He is right that they are not the best, but to be fair they lasted a year an half before they perished an i still got ebay ones on front so not as bad as ya think mate and i drive mine HARD!

Ebay cheap car parts = $hit

You'll end up paying more, since sooner or later you'll end up buying a good quality part to replace the cheap one.

I tried ebay rear arms, lasted about 2 months. Very bad quality. Going to try SPC arms now. I would strongly advise anyone not to buy the ebay camber arms.

Ive yet to find a brand of camber arms that have a good review tho :(

I didnt really think they would have good reviews. Was going to suggest high tensile steel bolts aswell. Does anyone know if the bushes can be replaced with poly ones?

Once you've factored in high tensile bolts, OEM quality ball joints and decent bushes, you're probably not far off the cost of a set of decent arms, and on top of that the eBay ones are still going to be made of low grade metal.

There is no sense in buying them at all unless you're the type to cut your springs '4 teh bitchaz innit'.

Well considering even the market leaders SPC (who have now discontinued their EK arms) have had a reported failure on here, who knows really. They seem to be a weak component in general so need to be bought with care.

I have the SPCs and they seem like a really well made, sturdy unit especially compared to some of the flimsy pressed metal ones I have seen, so if you can get hold of a set, they're probably still the ones to get. Failing that I don't know what's next best, Hardrace are supposed to be pretty good aren't they?

What we need is for someone to reverse engineer the SPC arms and start producing them again using the SPC ball joints.
