the hood scoop looks the part for the ITBs! Killer setup!

Should finish it off over the winter break. Will be all ready for testing the very first day of the season hopefully :)

Well, you sure do not have that far to go if you ask me.
You have made some huge progress in the last 6 months--the engine runs!

I'm finding that after my first track day that there were different things that I thought were good to go, but were not, like the radiator drain, brake pads and calipers...what I am getting at is try not to over do it, as you will only go back and tweek with things afterwards.

:woot:

:nice:
Yeah it really is starting to come back together now :)
I hope to have around 5 full days of testing before we get into anything competitive. Ive also picked up a huge spares package over the last couple of days so have most things covered...i think and hope lol :D
My neighbour also has a scrap civic for parts so if any of the small bits fail i have a handy source for spare parts.
With some luck i will brake whatever is weak in testing and hopefully have decent reliability from there on in :)

Just some pictures of the new brake lines.
Fronts are done. Rears are done up to the bulkhead.

Nearly finished now :)
Have all the brake lines installed along with the bias valve and handbrake. Still have to weld in brakets for the handbrake though.
Also have to put the front end back on and do some wiring but other than that its nearly there!
Got some custom made spacers during the week:

Stay tuned for more updates very soon :nerv:

I bet :drive: Drive the skyline much?
I do a bit, but no tax and NCT up in a few days time as well. Dont think it'l pass another NCT-too loud, more emmissions than the space shuttle and harnessed+caged.
I'l probably turn it into a drag car in a few years time. Dunno what to do with it tbh.

lol sounds like a NCT inspectors dream come true car

Holy sh!t! Not been on this post for afew months, and the amount of work you have done since! Thumbsup for the amazing work mate! Can't wait to see the finished project! :D

Thanks dude. Im really excited about it now, its taking shape very fast!

So, ive managed to secure some much needed sponsorship for next season already and im in the process of getting one or 2 more people on side ;)
Ive also managed to pick myself up some extra driveshafts and suspension compoinents so the spares package is looking strong as well.
On the build side, ive completely finished routing the brakes inside the car and the Adjustable bias valve and hydraulic handbrake is mounted nice and neat.
I will have some photos tomorrow.

:)

Sorry about the picture quality!
Everything now within easy reach of the driver :)
