I'm gonna go against the grain and say that IMO they look a little untidy. Not massively so, but just a little messier than the simple red/black H badge.

Do they change colour for new posts?
 
I'm not so sure on these new icons, think it makes the site look a little untidy/tacky??? might grow on me though...

Same here. Though I think a nice improvement would be the icons in faded grey if there are no new posts and colored like they are now when there are new posts.
 
i really like it, i always thought to my self it would look better with icons to represent the particular section rather than all red H's but i never thought to say :nice:
 
I quite like them, wee bit of change never hurt nobody lol as said, do they change colour with new posts? that would be cool

I think it looks cool RVM, was wandering when the others would be added as the turbo has been up for a while ;)

. i understand what kozy and elchunk mean though

As for JT's idea :win: :win: that'd be awesome.
 
I removed them until I figure out a way the icons can tell the users the forum has new posts :)
