217BHP B20 DC2 vs 1.0 Nissan Micra?

i thought this thread was a bit of fun to mock all the recent ek9 vs threads that have started up?

Yeh, get back in that DC2 and start practicing the out-the-window-guff, that @nal exhalation is worth a least 3 BHP or more! If you can drive, stick your arse out the window, fart and light it all at the same time, the release of explosive methane will easily get you past that pesky coffin dodger in her Micra. Beware of burning @nal beards though. :nerv:

The mrs bought a Hyundai Atoz just to learn to drive in a while bk n i took it out for a 'spin' an overtook a Golf R32... Think its just whos driving that counts :nice:

thats dave bulls old mirca, its pritty much an pular engine in there.

Mate tell me about it! 1st and 2nd we were dead level but the torque of that 1.0 just started pulling on me in 3rd and left me for dust!

I mean, my car car thrash E46 M3's and the like but christ are those Micra's quick!

:)

Your car is faster than a E46 M3?

Guy near where I live has a Micra with the Bluebird 1.8 ZX turbo engine (everything else was stock), and we were at a drag strip and it was very quick, was keeping up to lightly moded ITRs and focus ST. Power to weight ratio plays a massive part.

Another guy near my end has a Suzuki Cappuccino with a Suzuki Hyabusa engine running just over 220 BHP. Now the Car only weighs 540kg. On track starts off behind a 911 GT3, and it absolutely demolishes the 911 GT3..... So anything is possible... jus the know how is required... oh and money for a good reliable build.

I have always wondered how good one of these would be with that engine!

Ever spoken to him about how difficult it was to build?
