DriftR, dont worry about it buddy, there's absolutely no need to apologise!! Like I said when you told me about your mum before, a car is just a metal tub with wheels..... the most important thing is to concentrate on getting better. If the car is still around once you're in a position to buy then I'm more than happy to bring the car through to Dunfermline for you too, so no worries on that front either.
To everyone who is interested in the car... and I've had MASSIVE interest in the car (which I was expecting), however, as yet I've not had anyone trying to view etc.... and had a couple of low ball offers quoting the credit crunch and recession as the reason!! lol...
So I've decided rather than having the car sitting doing nothing in the garage..
I wanted to take the opportunity to book the car into the Jap Specialist that I have used to look after all my cars over the years to investigate the reason why its taking a few turns to fire into life. Its not very Honda-ish and I've never had it on any previous Hondas that I've owned, but it could well be due to the spec/compression, in which case, there is nothing that I can do and its just a characteristic of the car.... but if it requires a replacement part then I can get that done.
It may seem a bit crazy to book a car into a garage which I'm selling, but this is something which has niggled away and niggled away at me since I bought the thing and I'm curious to see if its a problem or something which comes with the territory on a car like this... on the upside, it gives the people who are keen on the car time to sell their cars or arrange the finances to buy the EK9 off me.
Obviously, the car is being fully checked over, so if any other bits of work are needing done (which I'm 99.9% sure they wont) then they will be addressed as well.
I don't think I can put potential buyers mind at rest more than I am doing?! Haha
Cheers,
Grant
