2000 Black EK9 Type RX (Mega Spec)

Well, its difficult to know what constitutes serious interest, thats the problem. I've been as honest as I can be about the car in my description and in any contact I've had with people to try and put people at ease about the distance thing. Hopefully that, along with other people who know this car that have posted on this thread, it isn't too much of a gamble to take the trip up.

Also, another plus point is that it was brought into the UK by Dunc, who is well known to bring in decent examples. There is a receipt from him and the folder of bills with the car is staggering, its all there, even down to the RAYS wheel nuts, small bits from Honda, etc.

What I have said to people who have been in contact via email and PM, is that if I get a deposit on the car, then I'm quite happy to organise a friend to follow me while I bring the car to a Scottish Airport to meet them and cut down on faffing around with buses, trains and taxis to get to my house.

Cheers,
Grant

I really can't understand how this hasn't sold yet - Just Crazy!

I'm trying to sell mine the now because i have some issues with money but if i do sell it then i'd be seriously considering raising my loan just to buy this for a Bargain price!

I'm actually in love with this car and i havent even seen it lol

Good luck with the sale buddy

Why should he have to bring the car further south for some lazy bastid?!?!

If you want the right car and the person has a history (esp on here) of being a well known genuine member, then its worth travelling the length of the country if required to get the right car IMO...

Can get a cheap flight y'know as opposed to buying something rough a couple hundred less ;)

Yea have to agree..My two civics were bought at the far end of the country..Its a risk you take in going all the way over but for this car I would drive over to you from Ireland if I had the money

PM on its way mate. :nice:

I'd like to say also that I'm only about 30 mins along the road from DriftR, so its not really a big deal to pop along in the car... where as to just cross the border into England, would be a 2.5hr drive minimum and to get to Wales or the Midlands which is where most interest has come from would take 6 hours one way so its a wee bit of a difference!! :)

Cheers,
Grant

hi mate interested in the car was wondering if i could get your number to give you a call about it.as im from ireland and like to arange to see the car thanks

Hey mate can i ask where you had the mapping work done if it was done in your ownership ??

come on guys iv knowin this car since the day in come into the contery and i cant say enough about it. iv worked on it a few times myself and if it aint the best example in the uk its defo one of the best. if i ever had the money to buy an ek9 it would be this one or jocks as its jock that has done most of the work and its all top notch and done to perfection alot of time and money spent on these 2 ek9's and every week jock would have them on the ramp at his work giving it a good look over. so its had first class treatment and nothin but the best of parts

couldnt have said it better myself lum .

driftr ive met you a few times . if u want some personal info on the car feel free to contact me as im sure grant wont mind me tellin anyone how good this car actually is . :p

i just wish to appologise to Grant here

I actually really do want this car, Iv decided i want another ek9, a crazy one, still N/A, black, mint inside and out, basically...this one!

however, personal circumstances in the last few days ( which i said id make contact ) has been seriously stopped for now.

apart from the looking after of my mum recently. i was taken into hospital on tuesday. i suffer from a lung condition and have been feeling absolutely breathless almost at every task i do. which is not normal. it turns out my lung has collapsed, and iv undergone some surgery and now going through IV treatment and other chest tests which the hospital carrys out.

i am going to be in hospital for atleast 14 days, i cant change that, i hope thats all it is gonna be, my 24th birthday is next week and im gonna be stuck in here.

im in the western general hospital edinburgh at the moment, feeling crap, and feeling very bad for saying to grant i would get in touch, but this is the first chance iv got since my dad brought me my laptop in.

im going to be completely honest, i want this car. i want to view it with the 100% intention of buying provided everything is good, which ( lol, going by what everyone says ) im sure it is.

i just cannot give any concrete date for me getting out of hospital, and i also cant say whether il be fully healthy when im out... so i might need to you to drive to dunfermline if thats alright, id happily cover your petrol cost.

ofcourse, i cannot ask you to hold the car for me, and stop anyone else from getting in before me. so its a waiting game for me now, and a wait for full health

hope you understand bud

buddy your health is far more important grant is a really sound guy as u will see when you meet him . im sure he will fully understand and if still has the car will be more than willing to bring it to let u see it :)

wish you all the best in your full recovery
