11,000 Mile EK9 For Sale!

Stunning. Would have loved to own one from new or almost!

I think the word "MINT" should be used here!
Especially loving the cassette player!
Not loving the fogs!:(

Actually the On The Road price would be nearer to £12,000. Think you may have forgot customs charges:angry:
Dunx

Think I'd prefer my nicely run in 80,000+ mile B16B than that.

Minter though!

12k, no way would I spend that on an ek9. Yes they are great cars but 12k... someone must know what I'm trying to say. lol.

If it was around a year and a half from now and I was qualified I would pay that no bother!

Hard one to call i say, u never know where the depreciation lies with imports i suppose, That must have sat idle for years the seats dont look as if they have been sat in!

Thats a lot of money!
For eg. HKS have offered me their 1999 RX7 Demo Car for this sort of money, and it has a new engine installed too...I could probably even get a D1 car from one of the teams for that much....you could pretty much buy nearly any standard car you want in Japan for that money, and im talking DC5, R33 GTR, R32 GTR, Supra TT, any model Evo/Scooby, S2000, RX8, 350Z etc...

Thats a good point but how many supras skylines evos scobbys do you see day to day>?
Id bet a pound 2 a penny the 9 is probaly the rarest of the lot on brittish roads!

is it true you dont have to pay customs when importing a car if your private and not done one before??

:blinx:

You will still have to pay the same as a trader.
You can only class it as a "personal import" if you were resident in the country of origin for at least 6 months (may be 1 year).

Dunx

lol yeah agreed!

What do you think of the RX 7 turbos? Have you driven one>? Also do they have the wankel rotary engine aswell as being turbo charged???

yep they have the rotary twin turbo lumps in them. But you got to be carefull with what your buying, as after about 60k the rotor tips wear out, and alot of the time you have to have a full engine rebuild. Most of the cars over 60k for sale have normally had full engine rebuilds, and for the rx-7 engine build, its alot of money to do. A lovely car when there running rite tho and alot of tuning potential
