Would £200 coilovers from ebay be any good? i know they wont be nothing like Tein and eibach etc but am sure they would be better then stock suspensions on EJ9. I was wondering would this make the ride very hard?? and unconfable? because that is not that am looking for. I just need better handling with similar comfort

if u want handling and have 200 to spend buy some ek9 suspension. people on here sell them for under 200

I have just posted some up for sale. They are decent Jap make and i can vouch they work fine. They are an easy 5 way adjustment, on 1 they are a little softer that oem ek9 setup and 5 firm but not rock hard like Tein gets.

How much you selling them for? and have you got a picture please

Been there once and never never never again!

Buy cheap you will buy twice. I actually sold my car after i bought them they were thats bad.

ok i will take your advice on it. the car at the moment has 17 inch alloys with springs not sure which ones i bought it like that. i am getting 15" alloys with the coilovers. On a £300 budget can i get anything decent? 2nd hand or new? prebarly adjustable as i want to have a smooth ride as much as a hard ride for handling

Also if i was to fit the 15" alloys now would it look very odd? because of lowering springs and stuff. is it best i do them together? because i got the money to get the alloys next week but need a bit more for coilovers.

You've got 17s on stock suspension? Get them off and get the 15s on, you'll look less like a chelsea tractor.

Does this car have sway bars? Sway bars, and most notably a large rear sway bar (in relation to front) will make the car feel fun to drive but not harsh because you haven't changed the spring rate.

I recommend you never buy any cheap coilover. Don't even waste your money on that crap. Save it for something that's actually good and will last you like PIC or Koni+Ground Control.
