was nearly stock. the preowner had installed some red tubes. i removed the plastic part on the the rocercover and began to make the wite parts clean... was a work like hell bvecause the dirt under the hood was really heavy and i needed around 3hours to get it white o_O

here a picture from buying the car.

Redhotek.............. Why dont you chill out man........

Ive been into motors a long time now and im very aware that an enclosed type Filter works better unless the intake can actually be located completely away from engine(hot spots) like the front bumper............

I had this filter on the car when i bought it about 6 weeks ago. I would love to have something along the lines of a Mugen although thats too pricey for the gain you get in the "real" world.........

I no longer have air con so there is a nice gapeing hole in the front so alot of air wil enter under the hood and also have a 76mm air feed directly under the filter scooping from under the car....... Believe it or not the car performs great.

Your theaory is correct but unless driving your car hard concistantly where your going to get a large amount of heat build up, the overall gain isnt worth your very technical explanation.

Thanks

here's mine!:drive:

and yet another hot air intake... unbelievable.. dont you people do any research before you mod your car???

of course people research, at least i did.
But what's your point, an intake is an intake.
There's variety w/ purpose for them....

Your coming off as you know what your doing or been doing, also new to the site...
chill out!

Well here's mine.......hope you enjoy?
Have ARC intake chamber with cold air feed via duct - This works very well on her.

hot air intake... terrible..

Relax man these guys you’re taking about know what there doing.

Just my personal experience, I dynoed my old Js racing intake a AEM short ram and my friends Iceman CAI all on his B motor
First off , my J’s pipe was hot the AEM was hot as hell when i touched them and i touched his Iceman which was totally opposite.

On the dyno the difference was obvious, there was a 5hp difference through the band with the iceman, and more consistent runs on the dyno... The J’s and the AEM tailed off the more runs you made, aka it was getting hot....

I run a ARC box I like the sound and the way it looks and probably the lowest gain of all 3 intakes if I need to gain a little more HP throw on a different intake.

Just my experience if I would run a CAI I love the iceman

BTW I looked at your car I don’t think you need to worry about an intake

iam just another spoon and js racing freak ... already used the spoon direct CAI inbox and now replace it with js tsuchinoko air intake and will runs dyno ASAP , and someone said that this js racing air filter is not so good ... any proven statement ?
