Right,

I have no experience when it comes to these kits in terms of what to go for.

Whats bright enough or what would people recommend, the 6000K kit or the 8000K kit? Prices are the same so its just a matter of preference. I havent got them both in front of me to get a good comparison?

I presume the only difference between the 2 is the brightness?

I dont want them so bright it annoys other drivers but i so want the most visibility as possible. Best compromise.

Some info and experiences would be great.

Thanks

if you want the brightest get 4300k or 6000k. it doesnt really matter what "K" you get it isnt really going to effect other drivers unless its set up wrong (wrong positioning)

4300k will be really white and bright, 6000k will be white while 8000k will begining to get a blue tone..

I installed 6000k onto my ek9 2 weeks ago and they look great...I was getting flashed on the test drive but adjusted them down a bit and never got flashed once in the last 2 weeks..

Ahh, i see........

Well i dont want them to be stupidly bright. I do like the tint of very slight blue in the white...

jdm 3383, have you a picture handy of your 6000K in action?

Ill take some pictures of my car tonight with the headlights on...its yellow in color but really is closer to a true white i prefer it at night especially for driving alot on the interstate it doesnt give me a headache like my old bulbs did.

-on a side note i use those in my s2000 and my civic has CTR headlights what hid kit are you looking into buying i was told by a friend that on CTR headlights the reflect hid bulbs and dont focus them into a beam or something .... along those lines?

I need information/pictures really,

not a vote of preference....

Why do you prefer 3000K over the rest?

if you want 3k you might aswell stick with your oem bulbs cause they are yellow

4.3k or 6k are best ones i think. any higher its starts getting less bright and more colour.

i would go for 6k as it had a tint of blue which gives the car a modern look :nice:

If you could that would be great mate, thank you.

The kit i was looking at is just on ebay for about £75 i think. I dont wana spend silly amounts on a kit, just to brighten up the vision, bring it up to a modern spec.

Very helpful, thanks. 6000K seems a popular choice. Im sure i wont be disappointed.

If anyone has some nice photos of their EK with the 6000K kit that would be perfect.

dan i wouldnt bother with a ebay kit, id go to accessory zone. i got my kit from there and i couldnt fault them and if it breaks alan from there might sort you out and on ebay they'd probably tell you to **** off
