Will a b16 fit in an ep shape civic?


yes, no, and yes....

i remember reading about a scottish chap who fitted a B18C into his EP shape civic.
why would you wanna put a B16 init though.....
 
it has been done, i remember a build thread floating ill try find it, it was a b18 too
 
i cant see it being very fun having a b16 in a ep :p that would be a bit of a downgrade :p but i suppose everyone to their own :)

DO IT.....to be fair it would probably be the first B16 in an EP in the country...

Right im sick of reading so much crap about EP swaps...

B series swaps are not viable, too much $$$ for too little power. The amount of fabrication involved is unreal. Supposedly the boy with the B18 one got charged around 4k labour just to put it in.

For a K swap, the only parts you need for the swap that cant be took off a donor EP3 are the hasport mounts. I charge £3500 to supply and fit a K20 into an EP2, it can be done in two days.

Youd have to be a complete mug to want a B series 'cos its different'. People need to learn that being different doesnt automatically mean its good.

eh, NO.

NO fab work at all is needed for a K swap, and if you read my post youll see the difference in what I charge for a full drive in/drive out swap compared to the labour element of putting a B in....

Ive been doing swaps into 7th gen civics as far back as about 5 years ago, long before anyone else has touched them, im the guy that does all the research to see whats easiest and also best VFM to be able to offer to people.
