Sorry mate i did try searching for it but couldn't find it..
and i've been on this forum for over 2 months and i've never seen this question :)
no need to be an arse.

search next time prior to posting up buddy, no harm in taking a full 5 minutes searching prior to posting up Q's, top tip!

:)

ok mate. i typed in oil etc into the search bar and it said no matches found. so god knows i just won't ask again

Guys give Todd a break, he doesn't deserve this abuse!

10w40 Semi Synthetic.

Dunx

The search fuction on some forums is total crap so I cant blame some people.

Its better if you google the topic and stick ek9.org after it , works a charm :nice:

Make: fuchs full syn
Grade: 10w 50 (Im boosted)
Filter: i just use a standard blueprint, equally as good as honda.

10W-40 - Motul, Shell, Mobil, Fuchs and other good brand engine oils will be fine.

Tend to change mine every 2-3k along with Honda/land rover MTF gearbox oil, keeps it running luuurvvly

Ive been using 5w 40 Fuchs Synthetic for the past couple of years, Next oil change ill be swapping to Gulf 5w 40 Synthetic for no other reason than it was in a special discount deal on Opie Oils! :)

regular 10w40 semi synthetic, i forget the brand, changed very frequently with a genuine stubby hamp filter

car uses a huge oil cooler, so no chance of the oil seeing daft temperatures, can't see how i can justify spending huge amounts on oil

I don't get this....

I wonder if i can use 10w 40 semi too..

it's Mobile 1 pro 2000 now that i think of it, comes in the 5L container from halfords

ran the new engine for 20 minutes on idle with mineral oil then dumped that out and had it mapped on semi synth and ran it on semi synth ever since

1400 miles later and the car runs sweet as and doesn't burn a drop of oil

with how frequently i change the oil and the fact it will never see much over 90 degrees (taken from the sump), i'm not going to change to a fully synth

liqui moly
10 w 40
i´m using the original honda oil filter

i emailed opie oils about this yesterday for their reccomedations.. they suggested a few 5w-40 full sythentics to me. the 5w helping with start up from cold.

i will probably be going with millers, as i have used this on pretty much all my other cars.
