What car next ??

Selling up my civic but won't be buying anything till late-ish this year, so have a little time to make up my mind.
2 choices I've kind of narrowed it down to are, DC5 :) or jdm fairlady 350z ?

Which would you pick ?
 
Both options are just as good. I would say if you had the money to look and no EVO 7 or 8. combines sports car and family together.

I do like a nice r33, decent price you can one for these between 11-13k gets you a clean one with over 400bhp easy, Only insurance didn't agree on this :(

Been out in one when I worked at Beemer, they are quick. Which was surprising since I just thought it was just another 1 series with a set of m wheels on it.

Why would u take z.. what makes you drawn to it ??? Than a dc5.

Yeah i will have the money for an evo. Just get reminded of how much they blow through petrol or need a goldmine to keep up with it. Is it not as bad as what some people make it out to be ?
 
DC5.


350Z is a car for fat men and show offs. it looks crap and weighs 2 ton. i dont understand why anyone would want it.

dc5 is like someone combined s2000 and dc2.

would you not consider a s2k?
 
How about a r32/33 or even 34 skyline gtst? I have a r33 gtst with stage 2 part sitting around 350 bhp but after map I'll be around 400 bhp and there so much fun and not as lazy and some might think

good thought you but with this rationale 350Z will burn the same fuel with the EVO since 3000cc. both will burn Evo reason AWD will burn and 350Z reason cc. I've a dream to one day be able to get after, combining fast car and family together. hope you have understood what I mean because my english is not so good.

Prefer the looks never really liked DC5. Also it's RWD (no matter what most of us think RWD is better) and the 3.5 V6 is amazing.
 
totally agree with 689R , av just bought a dc5 , after a couple of years with out a performance car , but have had 2 ek9s and a ep3 but got to say i love the dc5 especially now its lowered .
 
Also for those suggesting an EVO - I am not saying 350Z is going to be cheap to run, but 2wd non turbo will always be simpler (= cheaper to maintain) than 4wd turbo car. That is if running costs are a potential problem.
 
Only thing that puts me off the 350z is the lack of power they have, considering the engine size and the weight. I'd want way more power than they've got.
