hey guys i recently installed a walbro 255 in my car. now, looking at online stuff its not the high pressure one. i had an integra before with a walbro and it was really really loud when switching the key. im guessing that one was the 255 high pressure.

the one i recently installed on my b18c-r is a walbro GSS317.

I heard thats a 255, just not the high pressure. i still hear the pump come on, just not as loud as my old integra. my question is, im i ok with that pump? or should i go with a high pressure, is there noticeable diff between the 2?

my mods are
-hytech headers with 3 inch collector
-arc cf intake with K&N filter
-decat
-2.5 evo 2 exhaust
-Aem cam gears
-Aem power pulley
-p28 type r basemap
-walbro 255 lhp

my future and only mods for this engine is bigger injectors...recommendations? im thinking RC 440cc and a AEM fuel pressure gulator, AEM fuel rail. then go tune it.

should be in the 200whp right? compression was 250 across the board...

You never said what car it is. As for your mods, cam gears don't make more power and either do fuel pressure regulators. Your exhaust and intake will make a bit more power with the injectors. If your running a b16b I'd say you'd be doing well to get 190.

And your fuel pump won't make a difference unless your going for the 300+ Mark. If someone disagrees correct me

the engine is a b18c-r 96 spec. (its a 97) tho

after a good tune i should be at 190 to da wheels or so huh? i know u said 190 for a b16b, but thas probably to the flywheel u meant.

i thought adjustable cam gears made a difference when u retard them cam gears?

also im assuiming my intake piping is 3 inch, because te k&n filter i boiught nothing would fit besides the 3" inch...

Cam gears wouldn't make a noticable difference i wouldn't have thought? And as above the fuel pump won't make that much difference i wouldn't have thought, as my 1.6 sohc non vtec fuel pump was the same as my Accord type R fuel pump So surely won't make any difference at all o.e. honda pumps seem to bee good enough

i agree on that m8.. also a fuel rail a pressure regulator 440cc injector bla blah wont make any more power.... you need these when you instal bigger throttle body high comp pistons etc etc.. not even in your best dreams to make 200whp on that you will prob be around 175

I'm assuming you'll be getting your car dyno'd.. The adjustable cam gears will improve the map if the tuner does cam swings to find the best power from the motor.

440's on a stock b18c? wut.

Dont need that, or the walbro or the cam gears with standard cams really. Unlikely the tuner will play with that/timing. Just fueling and ignition tables.

Should make around 170-175 whp with that setup

but dont a jdm type r b18c come with 200hp to the flywheel, then 20-30% power train loss...puts me at 170-175 wheel horse power?? stock?...with my mods i should be a little higher i would think...engine is fine...just a lil of burnin oil like a quart every 600 miles...other than that...compression test was done a few days ago...250 across the board...yea my friend told me 440cc is too much, wont be able to control it. 310s is fine...

btw, thx for all the help people...

keep the stock injectors, and for control purposes 440cc are almost as easy as the 310cc, don't spend money on 310cc injectors

197 to the flywheel 13 years ago.

You only have I/H/E so with management youd prob make 205-210 at the fly. If that.

i agree with you bro just i/h/e...i looked at the dyno graphs provided here on header spec on a stock type r motor...my headers produced 187 i think it was...i have real hytech headers...3 inch to a 2.25 decat pipe, and 2.5 full evo2 catback...(i did that to have a lil compression)...

so i should take you guys word and leave it the way it is? injectors and fuel rail was mylast mod to engine...

my complete list of mods is

Aem Power pulleys
Aem adjustable cam gears
Hytech racing header 3 inch
Arc CF intake 3 inch
K&n filter
Decat
2.5 full greddy evo2
Walbro lph 255
Greddy timing belt (pretty suregot nun to do with performance, just looks)
P28 chipped with type r basemap...

and of course LSD trans.

My goal is tomake 190'ish to the wheels. any suggestions on what to buy? really not trying to go internally, but ill give anything a try. i ran my friend on the highway with a v8 camaro, he was doing 370 to the crank...so about 320 and i kept up with him...he even asked if i had boosted it...it was a 3rd gear 60mph roll.i stopped the gas at 101mph.
