VSM EK9 K20 Turbo Project

So what are the results? Welds look beautiful but more immportant is a fact, that making a GOOD manifold is a hard work - that's not only 'yeah, that lenght looks good and suits to the oil pan"

Currently showing good gains right across the board. Will get before and after graphs up once Will's finished tuning

Just tipped 150whp. Well happy with it. Cracking gains right across and it really rips now. A lot punchier on the throttle too - on the whole it feels really crisp.
Top marks to Will at RDT for the tuning!

I didn't take any myself, but I'm sure one of the others will have done. I'll find out. I'll take one of it running tomorrow - very happy with the sound. Reasonably quiet low down, doesn't drone at all and pretty much silent at motorway cruising speed, but real aggressive in vtec

Nice gains up top, still quite a dip as vtec comes in?

Any particular reason the engine wasn't revved higher than 8400? Looks like power was still climbing so you could have netted more power with a little higher rev limit!

Because I didn't want it any higher. That engine has clocked up 124,000 miles now, no sense in pushing it any harder for the sake of a few extra hp

I'm willing to bet that dip would be all but non-existent on a roller dyno. No inertia from the rollers with a hub dyno, so everything like that is exaggerated. It's not noticeable on the road

The graph shows before and after. My car made 130whp peak before, 152whp after

I'm blind or what... :D Stock ECU or tuned? If untuned - this is a really good gain.

Sounds good mate. Those gains are excellent for only a Full Exhaust and Intake upgrade, no? Or were they roughly what you were expecting? How many hours went into the exhaust? Quality looks excellent. Nice work.

I knew where the gains were going to be (due to the tuning of the manifold), but not exactly how much by. As for hours, I fit it in around other jobs, but if I were to take a guess I'd say around 30 hours in the manifold and 10 or so in the rest of the exhaust
