i often ask myself the same question. but its getting somewhere near to what i want. a lot on the car has been changed now or uprated. engine next then inside.

All the main bits where done, and the outside was nearly new with oem parts, as well as the motor. There are many people who saw it at meets who will vouch for this car. what you have done is put some finishing touches on the car and trying to make it seem like you have rescued the car from the brink of disaster in order to look like a big man on the Internet.

ha ha you wish. there wasnt a panel that wasnt bent. side skirts split,front end was held together with zip tie's exhaust was botch welded. in short the car was stripped down and re done, and most of the crap thrown away, also who would do a engine conversion and not uprate the brakes. ive got enough people here who saw the car and have witnessed the build up to know what and the amount of money ive spent on it. sorry. anyway glad you like it :p :p

It was due for a 5 lug fair play, but just making sure I got it right you did buy this off rus right, if so when he had it body was clean as hell, rus is pretty ott about how clean his car was, and I have been in it and seen it many times there isnt anything wrong with it apart from the exhaust and maybe a cable tie , the car was pretty much 80% done. not dogging on you or anything you have done a good job, but give credit where credit is due :clap::clap:

When i saw this car, it was a minter!! So dont know what hell your talking about. I remember when i wanted to buy this so bad, but didnt have the cash.
But yeh Rus you the man!!!
 
I think it's pretty clear what you done here is make mountains out of mole hills! How come when you came to buy it none of these "bent panels" came up??? I'm sure if every single one was bent you would of said something?
 
i did say something. the only reason i brought the car was because of the b18 conversion was done. the guy that done the re-spray took a month to prep the body so it looked perfect.
and if all ive done is put some 'finishing touches' to the car how come it looks 100% different and why can i count only a few things on the spec sheet that were on the car when i brought it.
but im sure you'll get over the matter.
 
Oh dear boys, if that was your idea of a clean car I dread to think what a normal one would look like, I would have described the condition as "tatty" before VTEC ABUSER spent a ridiculous amount tidying the car up! and to say that you've done all the had work Rus frankly takes the piss.

We can see from the pictures that it a completely different car to what it used to be. The only thing I see thats the same is the engine...and thats knackered too!

Anyway this is a build thread and the idea is that you see the progress on the car not look like a big man on the internet. Lets not get in a huff.

would also help if your brother didn't hit a dear, and as for the engine it was pretty new, must have got to VTEC happy when he bought it haha, but I guess this is a build up thread and just wanted to see how the old girl is doin' lets be honest there wasnt really much left to, it was Rus's project and the end of the day, but at least the new owner is going on with it and now and it unrecognisable apart from the clean engine bay done by endless horizon, and the stickers on the windows.
 
hahaha oh dear boys...i was wit V-TEC ABUSER when he bought this car...in the misty rain which is never a good idea and is the reason we only noticed about 5 of the dents.

anyone looking at this car before he has rebuilt it and saying he has just done finishing touches needs glasses.lets see...different coilovers,all camber aligned,complete brake setup,new alloy wheels,complete body overhaul and new spray job,new strut braces(ones that dont fall to bits when you take them out) and different seats and steering wheel.
the money thats bin spent on this car is insane and deserves respect for his dedication to bringing such a mess back from the scrapheap.

also when we went to view the car the inside was such a state...he hadnt even bothered to clean or hoover it out so how can he have been ott about its cleaness?its a basic rule that u give the interior a clean out every now and then...let alone when selling the damn thing!!!

pull it together boys and see the light this car is completely changed and 100% better than it was.
 
very nice mate im planning a b18c6 in my vti-s once i eventually manage to get the money together lol
