they were a little bit fiddley but well worth the time to put together, just a shame i cant see a lot out of them!!!
other than that i think they look class.

what do people think??
 
So, it would appear that ive brought a big brake conversion. Willwoods 309mm!!! Cant wait to get them, clean them up and put them on the car. Just need a 1'' m/c and my pro race 1's powdercoated.
 
well its been a little while since ive posted anything up, dont have any pictures as yet but there are some kicking about i'll have to find.
well, since i last posted ive brought and fitted my 1"MC, ive brought a ASR 24mm roll bar and brace thanks to E2-SAW, cant fit this yet as i need to move my back box, its clashing. i tried to fit my big brakes but they wouldnt go, so with the help of a file, APR extended wheel bolts and a 6mm spacer i think it'll go, i did mock it up first.
hopefully it'll work and pictures to follow. just need to replace a knackered drive shaft boot, get a front roll bar get my manifold welded up AGAIN and i should be ready for some track actipon!!!!! cant wait.
 
What do you think of the quaife LSD mate? Vast improvement over stock?
 
yeah. its a lot better than stock, in many ways i wish i.d gone for something more aggresive tho!!!

Carbon mirrors are such a nice touch mate, Remember seeing this car at a meet in Norwich. Its such a cool car :nice:

The only reason I went geared is because I'm lazy, I couldn't be bothered maintaining a plated diff. I just wanted to put it in and forget about it.
Having said that, it's not let me down yet!!

Yeh man loving the updates on there. I'll come along to more this year, Won't have a car but be nice to see some **** hot honda's. Hopefully get to see my old EK4 also :D

so i brought extended wheel bolts from partsbox, using a press at work i seperated the hubs, pushed out the studs before replacing them, then i pushed the bearing out before cleaning everything up and replacing everything.

then i fitted the wilwoods

fixed it on my car and added a 12mm spacer, not what i'd hoped for, thought i'd worked it out to 6mm but there you go.
pro race 1 on and we have about 2mm clearance

also got my anti roll bar made up but cant fit it yet because of clearance issues.....story of my life...

as usual all comments welcome.

still plenty to do..... replace driveshaft boot, finish sunroof bung, get manifold weled up and backbox moved to get the rollbar in.....keep you updated!!!!
 
You are going to love that asr setup. congrats on the upgrade.

The holes in the front bumper? I have to ask why.
 
Well tama666, it's like this.
First of all I quite like it, I've always gone for more 'track appearance' rather than show well first because that's where I like to be when my cars on the road, and secondly I had a 1/3 of my intercooler tucked up behind my bumper and I didn't want to cut a great big hole in my bumper like my brothers, I have notice a small drop in intake temps, depending on speed!!! So works a bit!!!
