hi im sorting my civic ready to start tracking and I race bikes so I know all about the scrutineering for bikes but nothing on cars can anyone help ?

For track days, noise, leaks.. About it really? Been to many track days and never even had the car scrutinized

usual db levels are like 95-105db, most tracks differ though

Too loud and you don't go on until you get it silenced to an acceptable level.

No car trackday scrutineering is carried out just noise check. But no slick tyres or timing equipment.

Dunx

For lap timing - it voids the tracks insurance if you use this type of equiptment.

When you book your trackdays alot of organizers will send you an info pack either via email or post, giving you a list of things to check on the car, wheel security, oil leaks, levels etc. There isn't any scrutineering as such, they trust that you are able to check your own car over and have it running at a safe standard. The only thing they check is noise levels, and you can just google the noise limits for each track :)

thanks for all your help I do appreciate it. were is the best place to buy track focused parts
