Toyo T1R's Vs. Yokohama Parada Spec 2

Choosing from the two tyre's oringinally posted: toyo proxes t1r's vs yokahama prada spec 2 i'd say the proxes are a better all round tyre as there good in wet and dry a mate has the spec 2's and says there not great in wet.

Now that I've driven a bit longer with my Parada Spec II I can tell a bit more. I still love'em, awesome grip on the dry (grade:9). They are, however, not really made for auto-x like tracks with lots of very short cornering - their sidewall is too soft. Not that it is that soft, it's just that most tires including the Toyo's don't have a really hard sidewall, which is the only good sidewall on a short auto-x track imho (grade:7).

When it's lightly moist on the road, the grip is still pretty good, although it slides a bit faster (grade:7.5). As mentioned before, slide is progressive and very controllable. In the wet it ain't that good (grade: 6.5). But again, it slides in a controllable way.

I've driven with them on the Nurburgring....awesome :drive:
