Tom's SSB ej9


Bit of progress, got all the final parts together. PAS pump, fuel rail and throttlebody...
Got them bolted on and got her running, but it was peeing out petrol from an injector, turned out to be a seal...
Heres a pic of it finished, without the PAS pump...

And today it made its way out the garage for the first time in 2 weeks...

But now i have realised the exhaust doesn't line up with the tunnel no more, so it just drags on the floor and also the passenger side wheel feels like its buckled all the time, so i am thinking the shafts naff as the wheel is fine...

great for the swap!! B18 is nice choice m8, i am saving money to do this too. and for the ssb, my favorite color too!
 
Went out with a mate the other night and he took some pretty good shots of the civ dog, was rather dirty but oh well it was a free photoshoot from a decent lad...

Just wondered if any of you guys knew what the wheels are worth? They are Rota 98 Spec's, i see on the 'tinternet they were £525 new but i don't know whether to believe this lol...
Gonna spray the bay again and i was thinking Pink lol, dunno what colour to do, but i think black is just too dull...

Also been wondering what this hose connects to as i can hear it sucking but dunno where it goes...?
 
the hose goes to the charcoal canister, if this has been removed just block it off dude :) its not necessary.

You made me think that it's not necessary to put facelift front.. It can be f@ck!n beautifull as a prefacelift! Awesome job man.. Taste's like mine. I'm going for the same look but more green. Respect bro
 
Wheels just make it look soooo sick mate. Good luck with the rest of the project
 
If your gonna change the wheels, I suggest some Rota GT3's in red with the chrome lip....Would look gorgeous specially with the colour of your car :naughty:

Only took an hour an a bit, LCA bolts were easy as. Never got a pic of the loweredness but will later...

More new bits to come!
