the day I killed my Integra!

yes... it'S the best you can do...

this crash remember me to mine in end of october with the ek9 =/ just that i had an stronger impact :(

what was your speed? looks like you was at around 120kph?
but the move of your little brother looks very dangerous o_O"

WHAT????? You serious???
Yeah. If you tense your muscles they become shorter. A crash forces your shorter muscles to stretch and thats where a lot of pain from a crash comes from. I experienced a crash once, a heavy van, rammed the back of the car I was in with 20mph. Before I knew what happened, the van rammed us. Because I didn't know what was to come I didn't tense my muscles and no pain whatsoever in my neck afterwards. So, while it's often impossible cause it's a reflex, it's still best not to tense your muscles in a crash ;)

definatly lift off oversteer goin on there

thats very unfortunate dude.

as has been said, valuable evidence made for harnesses and such there

glad everyone was ok.

definitly something strange going on there.
even with lift of oversteer the back shouldnt come round that fast.
i would definetly say its been caused by something other than your driving.

That was my impression too...it's so sudden, especially for a fwd car.

Just a result of cornering quickly with a trailing throttle & overheating rear tyres IMO....

96 spec tegs are less stable on the limit than the 98spec too...

Hi Marc, been a long time mate!

It's a JDM '96 spec.
Chassis is ready for the bodyshop, now to start work on the engine build...

Did you disengage the clutch at that turning point? stock DC2R tends to oversteer.

Defo lift off oversteer, The car was pitched in and suspension was under full load, it would come round that fast regardless of tyres, mine will do that with r888s on.
he just ran out of talent.

looks like a lil hill totally unbalanced the car, glad everyone was safe tho the girl looked like she got a hell of a whip lash

Good call...it's a 96spec too. Known to be quite tail happy. The 98spec upper camber arms might have helped a bit in this case.

Funny to blame it on the tires though.

what do you mean, "funny to blame it on the tires" - i'm not making excuses, obviously driver error was involved, but I do know when tyres are fooked - and trust me, they were fooked! The rubber was peeling off by the end!

Lesson learned though, at least i'm willing to give it a try and once the car is ready, will be back there for more!
