Tegiwa X Brace

Jimbo, what are your thoughts on this piece of... er, ingenuity?

Personally my SRS* sensor is going into overload...

*SRS - stunna riceboy shite

Makes me laugh that most people think stiffer is always better, it's not.

Simple way to test this as i have said before is go on gran turismo or forza and select the hardest setting on the suspension..

it completely screws the car up..!!!! as for why this is...??? MEH lol.

guys of course there is going to be flex in the chassis between the rear strut towers.. it doesn't take alot of inteligence or a Degree to work that out..... its just a case of HOW MUCH ??? that is where the real tech stuff lie's being able to measure it and understand how and why it is doing this to actually prove that it is worth spending the money to get X amount of % increase in rigidity.. over not having a X brace....

you get a chance to get that tech piece of kit from your work yet Jimbo ??

Tegiwa - Haven't ever ordered anything from you...
but my car has some parts on it from the previous owner
My ek4 has your brake stopper and did have your X brace... CAN'T fault them.. persoanlly i believe what you are doing as a company is great making expensive parts avaliable to the masses.... its just a shame that people don't understand or recognise that you do not have the multi million pound investments to R&D like the top guys out there people like MUGEN for instance.. but then if you did i'm sure your parts would be just as expensive as theirs.. i have only ever HEARD of bad things about tegiwa and not experienced them myself....

lol good read.i have a miracle x-brace. yet to fit it lol but wonder, if it was tested the same way, if the results would be similar to the tegiwa one. to see if the extra price has a difference in effect lol

I have now fitted my x brace with my Mugen strut brace. Looks pimp.
Any differance it has made is small but i do feel something.

:pics:

Sounds awesome would love to see how you modified it to fit. nice work.

Nice work. Looks mint and probably much more effective than the standard bolt on bars alot less joints involved.
