I know that my civic might have been pretty lame because of the way I bought it, but I loved it anyways. Well, last night from 2:30am to 6:30am, it got stolen from my drive way. It's really sad because it wasn't the greatest civic in the world, it was only a single cam, had a crack in the manifold, and had some ugly ass 17 inch wheels. I don't think that anyone here is from Las Vegas, NV, so you might not be able to help or anything. But it you want to see how it look and stuff, go the the link below... I know that my plates say EKIZZLE and it's not, so please don't give me crap about it, it was a funny idea at the time of registration.

but that sucks man, it seems like there stealing anything now, i had a friend with a pos eg on steelies with the d16 that got stolen :angry: sorry to hear it bro, hope you can get over it quick...
 
hahaha, didn't realize I had it on private... well it's changed now if you're still intrested in looking at my old baby. Yeah, it'll take some time to get over it but hopefully I can get a real EK now :)
 
no luck seeing those pics of ur recently stolen ride. R u now gonna purchase another ek? 9?
 
you werent joking those are some ugly wheels, dont feel bad the 99dx was the heaviest hatchback... insurance should give you at least 5g's for it, you should be able to find an eg with a b16 swap for that price :nice:
 
yeah, the wheels were very very VERY ugly... yeah, I'm just gonna save up to get an EK from japan or something. I'll just fix my old Ford Contour to drive around. Either that or put a down payment on an IS300

They stole my Ej, it was pretty hot lookin but under the Hood was all stock, they found her a weekend later and it was stripped and everything aftermarket was gone, put her back together now lookin hotter then ever, And i got every security measure under the sun. Good luck finding her and yea its tough
 
Damn that sucks dude. At least you got it back bro. My friends son from work got his 240 stolen recently after he had done a silvia front end conversion and had dropped in a brand new ls1 and he probably wont find it anymore.
 
Wow they really went to town on you civic. I feel bad for you, when mine got stolen, which was in november, 9 days after i bought it :mad:, they stol eit from my job, a outside mall, with security that sucks. When i got it back, they stole the rims but put donuts on it, broke the steering column just like urs was, took my radio, mirrors, mugen front and type r rear lips and intake, i dont think they had alot of time or else i think everything else would have gone. I still had my grill, hed and tail lights, seats cluster gauge, although they did steal my gauge pods...but i found out how they stole it, same way they did urs..popped that plastic piece and turned it with a screw driver from ur column shaft. Its only being covered by 2 screws thats easily able to pop off. So after i put it back together, i soldered the screw tips so u cant get in there, put an alarm with a cut off switch, put a removeable steering wheel along with a hub lock and a brake lock so you cant push down on the brake. Anyways what are you gona do to her, total it out or start over?

a 99 dx can still be bad ass.. a couple 100 pounds arent realy jack in the 1/4 mile prolly only helps .001 of a second. they are fun as hell with a b18:nice:
i think better then the b16.
 
damn man, why is there so many car thefts? Doesn't everybody make the alarm system their first modification? Feel sorry for all you guys...:angry:
 
haha yea i got an alarm...NOW..but who would have guessed not even 2 weeks go by and then it gets stolen..I got all the works now, alarm with pager, cut off power/fuel, removeable steering wheel with hub, and a brake lock so you cant press the brake down....its got it all now..oo and i live in NY, and yea cars get stolen here all the time unfortunately
