Stock EK9 Hondata Tuned 162.7whp - 190bhp

He's a good guy really, ive never seen him lean on anybody elses cars.

cool thats good, could you pm me an estimate for supply and map s300(pre face lift car)
i was thinking of buying a apexi power fc next year, but hondata would be clearly better choice:nice:
thanks.

It is a remanufactured one dude, not actually an OEM.:nice:

Yes, it's remanufactured, which means that they took an OEM ECU, replaced anything that they felt was old, chipped it with hondata, and then put the cutout and OBD2a/b harness, and then added a hondata cover and sticker. You can consider it new but it starts with an OEM ecu.

Nice thread.

Is the stock ECU mappable then?

What sort of gains can be seen on stock B18B?

And what is recommendable as 'stage 1' so to speat? Header, exhaust, filter + remap?

Stock ECU isn't mappable without installing some kind of chip, i.e. Hondata, Chrome etc....in this case Hondata.

There are some dyno charts on here of EK9 B18C's, just look them up, think you have already seen Jimbob's one! Obviously there are gains to be made, especially in terms of torque.

I'm sure Will (EK9Turbo) will be able to help you give you a more comprehensive answer with regards to gains etc.

Stage 1 I would consider to be like you said, header/intake/exhaust, there are plenty of different options to choose from which shed different results! All depends on what your aims are in terms of power and budget.... :)
