It's plug and play, they accept standard brake line fittings, standard discs/pads also

They come with a washer that fits between the caliper and the hub knuckle for both mounting bolts, the dust shield for the disc has to be bent back out the way a bit or cut (i just bent mine) but this is explained in the instructions. torque setting for the mounting bolts is the same as oem, 110Nm

They also fit behind oem ek9 wheels without the need for wheel spacers!

Yes, its just plug and play. Everything what stevenek9 said is correct! :) Just make sure the brake bleeding is done properly. You'll be amazed at a 100% bled air free system. Dabbing the brakes is a neck braking experience! Well, atleast on mine it is.

Guys, never thanked for the answers.
Im bringing alive this thread because finally bought a set, slightly used, but for just under U$1k.
This are arriving home on firday morning, but ill have to wait a week before installing them, im waiting for a set of 3mm spacers in order to clear my also recently bought and just mounted, 16" +50 mf10´s.

Very anxiuos about having the car finally done.

Now, steven, i wanted to know, if you can help me if you have the washer width, i guess its not coming with the calipers due to the fact theyre not new.

Thanks in advance

received my calipers last night.
They came with only 2 of the washers, and they are not 3mm mor like 1.5
ill try to get them installed today.

Let you know.

Without spacers to put behind the ek9 wheels??

What is the offset for the ek9 wheels? Is it +50?

I installed my calipers yesterday.
It took me about an hour and a half.
It took about three bottles of brake fluid to do the 2 men system purge.....
Ah by the way, do to the fact they are used i didnt get the bolts with the set but i used the oEM bolts. I know i should have changed but there was no porblem.
If some one has an uninstalled set con anybody give me the legth of the bolts in cluded in the set?, i want to change them anyway.

The install is pretty simple, i had to use some 5mm spacers to clear my MF 10 in +50 offset.

I have just given it a small ride.
In the case of the back plate y bent them and it just was perfect.
Ah and i just realized that my pads (are almost new) are endless CCX pads. Only thing im gonna change in a couple of months is the lines to some steel braided ones.

Thanks for the previos help.

3 bottles?! reminds me of when I used to bleed with 2-man procedure.

With a vacumm pump, it only uses 2/3 bottle. For me it did :D

Ah by the way, i used the oem clips for the brakers, following your guidance....

nice one! Just make sure the clips dont touch the rotors and and make sure it sits on the highest point of the pads. Otherwise you'll get contact and it will squeel bad.

The SPOON calipers really make a huge difference when bled properly with a vacumm. Big difference!

Yeah took all the attention to the install.

By the way, did anyone had to use spaecers to be placed before the rotor?
Dont know why but a friend had to do that when installed his calipers on his DC2 (JDM Sir) and the guy that sold me the calipers included a pair of 5mm spacers that he said hi instaled before the rotors. I havent used them...
Well used them but between tha rotor and wheel because of clearance issues.

These washers are they needed? EK9 with rota slips fitted? Vaccum bleeder any recommendations and what is the correct procedure to bleed a RHD EK9.

Thanks you
