Skyline R34 GTT! Update 11/01/15


like you said though even after it costing more the engine should be in better condition as chances are there revs won't have been held at top end for so long and different people drive autos to manuals for that same reason. Defo mate thats to nicer car and to much power to be risking shite tyres. It would be so lame to write it off due to the T1Rs suddenly loosing grip.

Absolutely! Tyres were far more important. Can't believe how much difference they make to the handling. Probably the best mod I would have done to the car!
 
Thought I would throw up some pictures of where I got with the 34






Car has gone now. As fun as it was owning my first turbo RWD car, the skyline is pretty overrated in my opinion. I would have traded it for a mint ek9 in a heartbeat!!

Got another car that is just about to leave Japan. Spent ages looking for a DA6 but they are just ridiculously hard to find. So for now I am still without a Honda... Maybe next year!
 
I had a da6 in my family for over 10 years. My Dad brought it from jap auctions in Ireland in 1999. Body panels are hard to find ! I sadly sold it few years ago to a complete bellend that ruined it.

I remember you saying a while ago you had a da6. They really are cool cars I think, super rare! Shame about your one though. Must have been gutting to see it get ruined.

Good luck finding one in decent enough condition, it's was indeed a forgotten Honda. Being the first Honda to have the bseries engine is pretty cool though.

I have postponed the search for a da, as I would prefer to wait until I am in a better position financially to be able to give it the money and attention it deserves. Although I may regret that decision as they are only getting rarer haha.

Still keeping with the Nissans for now. Want to get a few cars out of my system before I eventually end up in another 9. Downsized to a Silvia.

haha always had a thing for the ps. Was looking for one before I bought the R34, which was probably the reason I got rid of it so quickly. It was never 100% what I wanted.

Got this for an absolute steal of a price though! Can't wait!
 
Yeah same here, just love the look of them. Standard body lowered on nice wheels, sorted :fapfap:

Can even make SR's sound quite nice with the right exhaust haha. I've been wanting one for ages but funds would never allow it. I'll have one one day!

Make sure you stick up more pics when it arrives!

Cheers man! I think they are one of the best looking Jap cars of that sort of age. Should be here end of feb.
