Skunk2 exhaust any good ?

A better flowing exhaust with little restrictions as possible, also maximizing both Hp and torque throughout the entire rpm range? :p

Skunk2 systems are meant to flow very effectivly.

I've bought a Skunk2 mega power R exhaust for my Ek9 as the old twinloop was a tad restrictive for it. Will let you know gains (over twinloop) next week when it gets re-dyno'd.

i have skunk2 megapower rr on my type r eg hatchabck and i personally like it lots of free flow and sounds pretty nice a little loud but isn't as loud as buddy club spec 2
 
but still hella loud i can hear a mates car with megapower reving a couple km's from my house in my room with windows closed !

omg, really? I heard one on a B16b Eg and it wasnt too loud. The 2 step launch control was mental though - Pop, pop... BANG!! Ears were ringing for a couple of mins after :((
 
Ive got one on my B18'd EK coupe, it sounds awesome and seems to give good gains.. not quiet at all though!
 
Has anyone used the silencer with the Sk2 R or RR exhausts? Does it help at all?
 
Yes skunk exhaust system is good. Not quite but not very loud.

I use the silencer once a year when I go to the vacation. I drive circa 1800-2000 km. (1200 miles) during my journey and I like the amazing sound but I don't think that my 2 and half years old boy like it as well.:)

A little bit quieter with the silencer and luckily it hasn't crackling sound.:)
 
my friend has the mega r 2 & 3/4 inch on his b16a2 and when i first heard it i thought thats a nice sound not to loud and not to queit, but then he said it had the silencer "butt plug" in it, when he took it out it was one of the loudest i heard.
 
I will attempt a proper side by side comparison video of the RR with and without silencer. Using the same car [mine], same video and audio equipment, same settings. Along with my other over due videos.

I have a skunk2 megapower and i would recommend it! Cant fault it! Sounds amazing :)
 
Get one .I have one on my EK9 b18c with 421 manifold and decat .Its not that loud but when you hit vtec boy is it loud :)
 
I didn't think mine was that loud, my buddyclub pro spec is far louder!
