size of rear speakers?

what size are they? I measure it out and I got

8" x 5"

but don't think theres speaker that size.

so it is 7" x 5"?

or 8" x 6"

i wanna replace it with just some non-paper ones to give some "filling" to go with my components.
 
the rear speakers are 6x9"s. i highly recommend dls. for sound quality they are unbeatable i reckon! :nice:
 
oooh they are? ok cool now I know what to get.

I am just thinking about getting a 4 channel amp to power all 4...but the headunit power will have to do for now.


ATM no cash so just using my old stuff. 2 channel amp for front components.
 
What are the size of the front speakers also? I havent picked up my EK9 yet but im already looking for a few bits and pieces!
 
Front speakers are 6 1/2 and the rear are 6x9. I got ALPINE TYPE S on mine.
 
i think in the US front is 5.25" but 6.5" will fit with little to no trimming.

So the fronts are 6.5 and the rears are 6x9??

Did you need to use any spacers to avoid fowling???
 
That's correct.

I had to use spacers on my Infinity Kappa's, but the magnet/basket on those f*ckers is huge. Most 6.5"'ers should be fine
