Rusted TEGIWA Washer Bolts??

i'd be screwing if my hard earned £40 went to pay for them and got that result, a similar scenario happened with a mate with another 1 of there items apparently everytime he was calling them he was simply told to phone back later as "we are busy" kept hearing the same thing for a week finaly gave up and lost out.

"ONCE THE PAYMENTS MADE FORGET ABOUT IT"

should be the business line...:angry2:

i told you to be wary kieth, tool 2 months to get my braided lines...

mine,s the same and the psw jdm one that i have more than a year now are still ok 20 for 5 that last, or 10 for £10 that rust.

**** those pictures are bad ! I'm actually really surprised how bad they've actually got in such a short space of time. I have just ordered a brake stopper off them. I hope it doesnt snap into pieces when i put my brake on lol.

I have got a PM and they are sending out black stainless now :nice: will keep you posted :p

looks like the washers might be aluminium but i'm guessing the bolts are just steel with no protective coating. I'm sure even standard bolts are cadmium coated to protect against rust.

Are they sold as anodised? Because you cannot anodise steel

Go to an auto jumble, there is normally a stand there selling SS bolts and washers etc - this is what I do for my bikes :)

@dan22h, most standard decent bolts do come with some sort of coating. I brought a few 10mm bolts off honda about 3years ago now and there still pretty good.

OMG.... so much mis-informed knowledge being spouted here....

Boltsbolts.. you clearly know very little about the products you supply and the manufacturing processes involved.

THE BOLTS
SILVER - These have always been A2 Stainless Steel
BLACK - were mild steel & chemical blackened

NOW THEY ARE BLACK STAINLESS (as of 1 month ago!!!). Proof below...

THE WASHERS
ALUMINIUM - They have always been turned and then anodized from 6082.
Its impossible for aluminium to rust

Here is the picture showing a A2 black stainless VS the black mild 10.9 strength bolt

Im very sorry for problems that the black may have caused for people in the past. Anyone wanting black ones please send me a PM with the quantity required and we'll send them out. Or if you are at any of the shows this year grab them from us there... FOC

Thanks
Johnny

Yep that will be zinc coating - nothing special. But there is no black option!
