Purchased black washers with annodised black bolts a couple month back and fitted them a week before Japshow at Santa Pod which was 17th June 11......

Within 3 weeks they have surface rust  WTF!!! Anyone else had this problem?

My mate fitted his weeks before mine but never got the annodised ones and they are perfect......PRETTY PISSED OFF!!!!

PM'd them with no reply.....

Yeah I rang them after a week of them rusting and they sent me the stainless ones as a replacement! The black ones are chemically treated not anodised, this is why they rust. :(

In my opinion, this is just bull ****!! If they had to be maintained with oil it should have been clearly displayed and i would have got the stainless ones.

If anyone is thinking about getting some i advise getting the stainless all the way!

I have PM'd and posted on the topic, so i will give you an update on there customer service :nono: £38 + delivery for something thats worse than what came off after a week....USELESS!!

send them all back demand a refund then go speak to 'dan' from 'boltsbolts' he's a very nice helpful guy who knows a lot more than tegiwa. his products are far superior ;)

I'll dig out the photos of the bolts that were exposed to the elements on my numberplate! There awful :(

As long as people buy toot, then more will be made. Sad really no wonder there is not much Engineering in Britain anymore. Fancy making washers out of steel and just blacking them, waste of material i think. This is the reason i don't make any components for friends, as i could never charge enough to cover costs. Where are These bits made?
