Recaro Seat cover

Yes the price is alot and for a cover i can expect it to be overpriced but as long as it prevents wear and dirt then that will do for me. And it has to be visually appealing.

So you dont get those huge creases all over it like the Tegwa one shown in the photos? Have you any photos of yours installed?

Sorry, i just dont want to buy and be disappointed as its not exactly cheap.

Below are a couple pics EK9dan. The covers were recently installed, so they aren't broken in. Also, I'd advise spraying them down with some water/stain repellent inside and out for added protection. Lastly, here's a thread I started on the subject: Capital Seating - Recaro Seat Covers?

Oh yeah, I didn't secure the velcro straps that would tighten up the lower lumbar/seat area.

this is the only pic ive got of the capital seating cover of got dan it is a perfect fit tho if it were me id say its worth spending the extra as some of tegiwa stuff is very cheeply made ie wheel nuts that go pink rather than stay red

just made the seat a bit slipery and not comfortable when its hot, like i said you can have one of mine £35 delivered and its in perfect nick pm me and ill send ya a pic asap :nice:

I don't see the point! Save your money and when your seats are fcuked by a set of mint second hand ones! The covers look siht! Just keep your seats clean and make sure your clothes arn't dirty!

Yeah i agree they dont exactly look good but Im starting to get some wear on the drivers on the bottom cushion and the more you drive the more it'll wear. And it normally is driven reasonably often. I do keep my seats very clean and im funny about dirt on them etc, its just the wear im concerned about.

The passenger side is totally mint.

Maybe your right, ahhh i duno now :angry2:

Swap the seats and rails over. I imagine your drive it more than passngers sit in it? LOL then the wear will be even. Nice mint passenger seat for you slightly worn seat for occassional passengers. :nice: Thats FREE apart from time! :p

The covers wont really stop the wear anyway surely? Because they are a bit baggy the cover will just move around with you, still rubbing on the seat i would have thought...only really to stop dirt.
 
They will stop dye from jeans staining the seats at least but wont help bolster getting worn much, bolster most likely to get worn when people getting in and out of the car

I believe they are to secure the bottom portion of the cover to the seat. There is a strap on each side that mate to each other.
