fail thread!!!

if an uninsured driver/ drunk driver ever hit me or anyone i'm with i would do this without hesitation. I have no respect for drink driving, lost too many friends to it!

:angry2: Why don't u buy the ek9 garage it till u can afford to Insure it as it is. Then u will be able to do little bits and bobs to it untill your get more ncb, If not then wait. you also got to think it's other drivers on the road that cause accidents aswell, is it really worth points if not a ban if you get caught. Vosa would cut your licence up on the road side and crush your car In seconds.

As said above FORGET THE IDEA:wtf2:

basically that...

yeah man If you like the car soo much buy, if you got the capital garage it and just use you ej9 and build up your ncb at least the ek9 isn't going anywhere, eventually you will be able to insure it.

Don't worry man my first car was a eg6 and I was paying 3k in just insurance alone =/ but you gotta do what you gotta do.

PAY to PLAY.

Oh I know, sounds silly but its extra incentive not to crash.

Plus I wouldn't be doing anything silly, as I don't want to be classed as a boy racer!

Also I'm 21 and the police have changed the law recently to 25 from 21 to be able to have 3rd party extension.

Mate its easy enough to say YOU aint gonna crash, but if some other fool on the road hits your car, and there insurance company ties in with your company and they discover your poilicy isnt correct then you are left with a messed up car coz they prob wont pay out to you!

or... other worst scenario, yes you dont want to crash, but **** happens, and if you go into the side of say a brand new beamer or merc, can u afford to fork out your pocket for brand new beamer parts? i think not...? prob be takin to court by some minted busnisman to sue u for the costs to repair

Advice for the OP. - there are no loop holes for insurance, either do it properly or do not drive. If you cannot afford the insurance you shouldn't be on the road.

You might aswell insure it as a 1.0l micra since they are cheaper to insure then even an ej9. The idea is foolish and not worth the risk mate. hold on to your ej9 until you have enough money to buy and insure an ek9 legally.
