All I've got left to do now is

Fit side skirts
RePlace suspension
Replace complete brake system
Replace seats
Remove wiring
Make undertray
Make front splitter
Down to Tdi for engine work

Probably a shît load of other stuff as well

Thanks matey,

I've been unable to get a definitive answer as to whether the height of the wing is of any relevance to the downforce provided. I would have thought that have the air rolling off the roof into the wing would be best, but lots of very well specced EK's & EG's in the states have them exactly where mine is. In reality mine is more down to necessity, as there is no structure in the boot lid to mount it to. If it isn't functional where it is then I'll have done brackets made to extend it to the rear of the car.

These have landed today. I extremely pleased to announce that my little EK will be the YellowSpeed UK Time Attack car :WOOT

Noticed that the under bonnet fuse box has little relevance anymore, as virtually everything electrical has been removed.
So out it all came :)

Installed my new YellowSpeed coilovers today, fantastic quality & fitment. Really impressed, can't wait to try them on track

Cheers bud. I can't wait for next year, as the car gets back together it just gets more exciting. Hopefully it will be ready for a road test by the end of next week :)

Will be interesting to see how well Yellow Speed do with their coilovers. What spring rates did you go for?

They are the premium competition model, and I'm going for the springs that come with them. They have a rate of 20F 16R which should be more than enough for my little EK :-D

Two of the larger jobs finished off today. So a complete new fuel system installed with replacement braided lines throughout. Also a larger 044 fuel pump, and Sytec fuel filter. Also finished off the wiring, with the entire ECU loom cut to allow the smallest hole possible in the bulkhead grommet. Whilst I was at it I have trimmed away any unnecessary wiring, and cut the loom to length so all nice and neat. Installed the new battery and heavier duty fuel pump wiring, running the pump straight from the battery through a relay.
It's getting close now, I can almost smell it

As always, massive thanks to the guys @ YellowSpeed for their continued support
